We were a group of 11. All of us ordered different items .Very different Vietnamese food healthy and tasty . I liked the flavor and also Bahn Mi shrimp sandwich.Spring roll was ok.

If your friends want to go out, but you're trying to stay on a diet, I think I would recommend that you go to Roll Play. The reason why is because you can just get a bunch of meat and summer rolls and it doesn't hurt your diet too much. While the prices are admittedly on the higher side (except for the summer and egg rolls) the flavor is good. The oxtail and American Wagyu is a bit of a buzz word dish in the sense that it just means that the meat that you're getting has a higher fat content (hence wagyu). Tapping said the meat is very tender, and it has a very mild meaty broth flavor. I honestly couldn't taste the difference between the beef brisket in my summer roll and the pulled oxtail in American Wagyu meat. The summer roll was filled with crunchy vegetables and came with a lovely spicy peanut sauce, but I would say that spicy peanut sauce was not very spicy at all. I almost thought that they just accidentally gave me regular peanut sauce. That being said, it is still a good and rich watery peanut sauce. The Vietnamese iced coffee is bold sweet and creamy, and it will make you have to use the restroom. There seems to be only one restroom, but it is well maintained. It is located off of 7 and that can be a little bit stressful because traffic is there is unrelenting and getting out is kind of annoying. However, there's a good amount of parking on off days a.k.a. a rainy Sunday.

Omg loving the new remodel and the 90s themed song track during lunch today! It seems less urban and more modern industrial vibes now. I love that there is always something new to try on their menu too. Today I ordered the banh mi dip (which is just a extra pho broth side). I typically order a side of pho broth to do this anyways so I love that they added an option for it to be combined on the menu. I was very excited to see on Uber Eats that they had more freebies with certain order limit. I had tried their slow oats creations a couple months ago which were fun to try but hit or miss for me. Today I scored chili crunch and more chili sate to cook with! I love scoring these roll play sauces to cook with and my friends always ask me about them when they come to my house. Great advertising Very tasty food! Everyone in my party enjoyed themselves and left happy and full!

Saw a post on IG and wanted to give it a try. I was disappointed! When they brought my food out the protein rice bowl had very cold eggs and salmon. It literally felt like it was taken right out of the fridge. I asked the worker to make sure if it was supposed to be cold and she said no, she apologized and remade it again. The second time they brought me the bowl it was missing the eggs and I told them and when they brought them to me it was super cold again, so I'm not sure if it's supposed to be that way. Once I tried the food, I do feel it definitely lacked a lot of flavor which was disappointing. I will say the brisket was super tender which was nice. The all meat pho also lacked flavor. Over all it was a great experience. I may give their wings a try in the future.

Came in at 2 on a random Sunday and wasn't very packed. Got the Wagyu Beef Steak Pho. Thought the oxtail broth was a bit too sweet for my liking and the beef was a bit tough and dry for me. Overall, not bad for the location.

Oxtail pho. DELICIOUS!

You have got to try the oxtail pho. It is absolutely divine! It comes with a good portion of pulled oxtail meat, and of course all of the customary veggies. I think that some of the juices from cooking the oxtail are added to the pho broth which just gives it this incredible depth of flavor. Despite the description, it's really not spicy. There's some chili flakes in the broth but it's way more for flavor than for spice. I don't like spicy food and I would tell you if it was spicy. The service was quick and the staff were really nice. They also offer free bottled water for customers, which is also nice. Parking is a little tricky. There are limited parking spaces in the parking lot, but the garage is free. Throughout the day you can also walk through the glass doors in the parking garage: once you exit the second set of glass doors, turn right and you'll be right at the restaurant. It's easier and safer than walking along the parking lot ramp to get to the restaurant.

Roll Play has become a preferred take-out option for Vietnamese fusion dishes. I think the kiosk self-service is great as you can choose exactly what you like, or you can order in advance. If you're not in the mood for pho, the summer rolls with pork belly or shrimp are yummy. This place has a casual and fun vibe. Be sure to ask for the Vietnamese dipping sauce if you're getting the summer rolls! The only downside is that indoor space is limited and a bit cramped (3 tables maximum) so it's much easier to do take-out. Also, parking is limited near the front of the restaurant but you can go to the garage (entrance just to the left of Roll Play) and have your ticket validated. Hope to return and try their beef or chicken pho at the restaurant during the winter months (at an off-peak time).

Really good pho and rice bowls, with convenient kiosk ordering! Indoor seats are limited. Has indoor parking lot for retail customers.

I'm sorry the food here is so mid. The restaurant itself is cute but the food is not very authentic. For fusion it's not bad but I would appreciate more flavor and better bread for the banh mi! I also had the three desserts and they're just basic chia seed puddings. Only the mango one is good. The PBJ one is straight bad. I will say they do a crazy price deal on UberEats where you can BOGO pretty much anything and get 3 desserts for free ++

Roll Play in Northern Virginia offers a customizable, modern Vietnamese experience with standout Spicy Oxtail Pho boasting rich broth and generous meat, though it's a fusion spot, not strictly traditional; their vegan options, especially glazed tofu was a highlight of my visit. The chicken wings, loved the spicy seasoning, the rolls and customizable offering quick, tasty, fusion bites for various diets. The broth is consistently rich, flavorful, beefy, and deep even if you take the vegan broth. Recommend giving it a try. The place is small and could get full quickly. The service was very good and neat.

Came by late night after a show at Wolf trap nearby, and we were floored by how good this was!! Not only are they open late but the service was quick even though they were busy. They played decent music and the food was done in ten minutes for take out. We tried the pho tacos -oxtail& chicken Summer rolls-oxtail, chicken, salmon Chicken pho Pepper steak báhn mì Everything was fresh, and the flavors were outstanding. Any time im in Tysons late this is my go to spot it never disappoints

Updated review for Roll play! Still a 5 out of 5 stars! I would definitely recommend their 3 rolls. When you order as on uber eats it's buy 1 get 1 free (so a total of 6 rolls for $18). It's pretty filling and I like the option that you get a choice of different sauces. Also I like the fact that you can get complimentary chili flakes and paste when you uber eats. Service is awesome. Food comes so fast through uber. I surely order whenever I don't have time to pack lunch for work. Still haven't been inside their restaurant, but maybe one day!

I think so...

What is the parking situation (knowing how congested Tyson's Corner is)?

There's not a lot of parking right in front, but there is a parking garage to the left that they will validate parking for! Just remember to have them validate it before you leave the restaurant.

Kiin Imm Thai has lots of pluses. First, the interior is cute and cozy with a neighborhood bistro vibe. Second, the service was excellent. We tried the Ka Prow Chicken ("basil stir fry") at level 2 spiciness and Pad See-Ew beef at level 2 spiciness. Both were delicious with a side order of brown rice. However, if we could go back in time, I think we would have ordered a Level 1 mildly spicy version of Pad See-Ew instead. Overall, the highlight of the meal was dessert (Mango and Sticky Rice), which we both devoured and is . highly recommended if you're dining in. Finally, Metro garage parking was free on weekends!

Sounds delicious? That's because it is. The tastes of soft pastries were good, good good, good good. I enjoyed my Curry Puff without the vinegar sauce myself. However, if there were an option, I would dip it into a blue cheese sauce or ranch dressing sauce. This might be looked at as sacrilege to die hard culinary enthusiasts, yet as they say, "varieties of spice of life." Veggie Spring Rolls $7.65: These three little pigs are not made if Pork incase you are confused. The are stuffed with Glass Noodles, Cabbage, Carrot, Celery, Taro and served with a Sweet & Sour Pineapple Sauce. This tasty appetizer was good, but I felt a pork option would greatly impact my taste buds. Guess I am a carnivore at heart at times. Kanom Jeeb Dumpling $8.75: Five Pieces of Minced Shrimp , Chicken, Cilantro, Corn, Garlic, Scallion wrapped in a thin Wonton Skin and steamed or deep fried to perfection?! It is also served with a Honey Soy Sauce. However, I can not remember having this on the second day. Nevermind, I went back to Kiin Imm Thai Restaurant to try this dish. Unfortunately, did not find it very good. This dish had some taste; however, this item is in the big leagues, just trying to get up that hill. It failed in my opinion. Crispy Duck Rolls: $9.95 I had forgotten what Duck tasted like. Yet , prepared in the right hands, The Crispy Duck Rolls are sensational with flavor. Donald Duck, Daffy Duck and Darkwing Duck and Daisy Duck and even Scrooge McDuck would not be amused at the thought of eating duck...on second thought, most of them would most likely join in eating poultry. Some would be appalled, disgusted, repulsed, revolted, sickened, appalled, and nauseated...yes, Its so not nice I said it twice. I find this dish to be shocking, thrilling, spectacular, stunning, magnificent fantastic dramatic, superb and FABULOUS! The seasoning of the Crispy Duck Rolls is prodigious. The Duck sauce (if that's what it was) in one word to describe it..Kafkaesque. Personally, I thought about not getting my next order of it without sauce. I quickly abolished this idea, because the Duck Rolls need the small amount of sauce that goes on it. The Crispy Duck Roll melts in your mouth so to speak. It is the best appetizers I had on the second day of coming to this restaurant. I will be ordering The Crispy Duck Rolls again. Probably this coming Monday April 27th 2026. I look forward to trying out a few more items on the menu, or at the very least, some repeats items. 4/27/26 Okay, for the second time upon entering this business, I noticed the short haired lady who sits at service table is giving me the stink eye. I have come to think of her as Jabifa since I don't remember her name. If Jabifa's problem with me is the changing of a few items on the food menu, requesting no sauce on the food or not have the food spicy, then she is in the wrong business of food service. Speaking of food, I noticed the Nom Nom Pork Strips were different this time around. They did not look like the ones I had the last two times. They looked like the The Grilled Pork Skewers, but without the Skewers with less flavor than the last two times I had them. Ohh things have changed, but hopefully this is a fluke. We will see what happens within the next two times I revisit this business. Until that time, the overall experience for this place is a four star level. If Jabifa's stink eye continues, we might be at a 3 star for ambience and service. Nevertheless, the food itself is at a five star level.

I came here getting the kogi steak and cheese. For around $8, you get a decent sized sandwich that taste really good! The kogi steak was pretty tender and Sandwich bread with it was toasty. It's definitely a must try for steak and cheese fans who want to try a bit of kbbq mix. The sandwich also came with kettle chips which was pretty nice. I would say one of the biggest downside is that the restaurants building just started to charge for parking. So the best place to park is the parking garage that offers free 30 min parking. Though they prepare the food fast, I highly recommend coming either early or after lunch rush since the line can build up.

Banban is another one of those sushi "bowl" places. However, unlike all the other poke places,…read moreBanban has been open for years, and is much less trendy and more straightforward. Personally, I like that much more because there are no crowds of teenagers and the no frills vibe suits its surrounding environment better. It's tucked away in an office park. In and out is easy. Just place your order at the cashier first, then wait until they call your number and pick up your food at the counter where they assemble the food, underneath the menus. Next to that counter are additional condiments like Sriracha. There are some chairs and tables to eat at, but it's more of a takeout place than a sit-down restaurant. While they're open for breakfast, I have only eaten here after 11:00am, so my review is for their lunch, and specifically their sushi bowls. I've posted pictures of 3 different kinds, the Sushi-ko, Hawaiian, and Chirasi bowls. Each bowl has your choice of fish, grain, and then has a particular set of vegetables. In all honesty, I'm not too particular, so the three are not very different, aside from the assortment of vegetables you get with them, and the sauce. It's a pretty simple concept, but gives you enough variety. I like them, and am more concerned about getting a healthy mix of foods packed into the same meal. Banban certainly succeeds in this department. The quality of the ingredients, at least recently, is pretty standard. I'm not a sushi expert, so I can't comment on the fish quality, but it seems fine, and the veggies have consistently been fresh while I've visited over the last few years. If you work in the Tysons area, this is a great healthy lunch spot. While I only get the sushi bowls, you can also get: salads, wraps, sandwiches, tacos, burritos, and noodle bowls. Plus you can customize entire bowls. That's about 30 different options! While their selections favor omnivores, vegetarians have a few options, too. One important thing to note is that the word "sushi" might imply that it's Japanese, but it's actually a Korean place. This separates it from the other similar places because they offer bulgogi, kimchi, etc. Everything is under $12, and most items are under $10, and the portion size is comparable to other fast-casual spots. It's great for one serving, and if you're a healthy eater who adheres to advised portion sizes, then you'll be more than satisfied. If you're someone who is used to super-sized portions, then you might find it less filling (compared to a Chipotle burrito or Cava bowl). All in all, I come here because it beats all the unhealthy options, and because it has always been consistently satisfying. Service is also straightforward and pleasant. As a side-note, parking is sparse, so please keep that in mind. You'll either have to circle around, or walk there. This parking situation, plus the fact that they're not particularly remarkable prevents me from giving it 5 stars, but the consistency of quality, straightforward businesslike experience, and health factor are pluses in my book. I hope this helps!
