Our situation: My husband fell down our stairs and I rushed him to our local St. John's Riverside Dobbs Ferry ER. He had fractured ribs and a broken elbow. He was immediately cared for by the ER staff and nurses who took tests calmly and compassionately - I was so relieved we chose to go there for emergency care. They admitted him to their main floor where he stayed overnight and the next morning they scheduled his elbow operation for later that day. Dr. Chan is an amazing ortho who spoke with us to describe what was needed and he put my husband's elbow back together, and then reported to me that all went well. My husband stayed that night and in the morning I took him home.
