The Rossmann-chain has some lovely, affordable products (shower gels, body lotions, teas and my new…read morefinds the fantastic organic oat cookies and tofu sausages, vegan and really tasty!), but in this particular shop I had some completely bizarre experience at the cashier - a) the female cashier had a bowl with nasty looking and smelling hot meat stew placed behind the counter (which she obviously should have left in the staff kitchen), b) when I was to pay with my card she made a huge grumpy deal about me not telling her beforehand and then turned to the next customer in line and let her pay before me while leaving me standing there feeling foolish and dumbstruck. The other customer and I probably felt equally embarrased by the whole thing. Clearly the staff in this shop needs to get some serious customer service instructions.

More drug store and personal care than I was looking for, this is not a grocery store and they do…read morenot have snacks. Bummer. Still, the store is tidy and well stocked. Shelves are full of merchandise and prices are marked. Baby food and diapers, candles, shampoo and other bath tools, facial washes and the like. Toothbrushes and toothpastes.
