This halfway house for parolees is literally worse than prison ..compared to multiple other halfway houses, it is so ridiculously filthy, underfunded, and abusive it should be shut down and condemned...exposed wiring dating back 20-50 years...walls and wall covers literally hanging off....floors have multiple and massive holes in them .. the showers are so rusty they are a health hazard..in addition they are exact replicas of prison showers, and the beds ARE prison issued....there is no central air and the conditions during hot months are brutally hot...the staff and management team are verbally, emotionally, and physically abusive to all clients each day....countless clients have returned to prison because they cannot take the level of abuse...being called names, put down, deliberately sabotaged with fake write-ups by staff causing continued loss of jobs....there are ZERO chances for clients success here unless they are only confined here extremely temporarily before discharge ....staff have quite in droves because the managers, Joanna and Tony, are so abusive and deliberately over extend their authority and the program rules that it makes them miserable....THE CONNECTION INCORPORATED runs this facility, and despite countless grievances by countless clients all corroborating each other's claims, will NOT acknowledge any wrongdoing by their staff or management team...they will not even attempt to change anything no matter what type of video, audio, or written evidence is submitted, and the state of Connecticut parole division, DPH, DOC, and local fire Marshalls willingly overlook everything.
If this was a regular civilian apt building, the DPH, zoning, fire Marshalls, and other agencies would condemm this building...BUT because it's a state contracted facility it's overlooked...when will CT corruption END??!! read more
