Attn Pet Parents,
DON'T take your dog to Rodrigo Dog Suites. Inside Rodrigo Dog Suites is the beauty salon La Chismosa. I adore the girls that work there so I continued going to the salon and bring my dog, Valentina. For some reason there are many dogs off leash in Rodrigo's without any supervision. One day a large dog even came running towards my miniature dachshund and terrified her. They also have an African gray parrot who one of the employees confessed to me attacks often.
However, the real reason I'm writing this review is because the other day as I exited Rodrigo's after a great day at La Chismosa, the lobby was wet with no wet floor sign. When I got to the steps for the parking (even though I held onto the rails), I slipped on the wet steps and fell. Even my glasses fell off my face. After taking a minute, I got to my car and noticed my toe was bent, two were swollen, and I had a large bruise on my left arm.
I called Rodrigo Dog Suites from my car and their employee said the owner was going to call me. 4 hours later I had yet to get a call so I called back. It was a different employee and she did not treat me well. She said the owner said it was out of their jurisdiction because it was outside the shop. (It was in their gated parking lot.) She told me to talk to the owner of the building. I called twice. No answer. Then I called Rodrigo yet again just to be informed that the office I was calling was closed at 5pm. It was about 5:30pm and keep in mind I fell at about 1pm.
Needless to say, I was a little upset because all I wanted was an incident report just in case my foot would need therapy. That is when the owner of Rodrigo finally called me and instead of giving me standard customer service he opened with:
"Eres Gabriela? La que se cayo?"
"Si, soy ella."
"Que tu quieres demander?!"
He was screaming at me and asking if I was going to sue and that I don't have a case. I proceeded to tell him before that call I had no intentions of suing and neither do I now. He should have called as soon as he was informed and all he needed to say was: "I heard you fell. Are you alright? Regrettably it's outside my jurisdiction but here's the number you must call." But apparently screaming and insulting one of your best customers is how they do customer service at Rodrigo Dog Suites. Don't ever go there. read more
