Notice to allergy sufferers: this is a pet-free hotel! Hooray! These hotels are becoming rare, and…read moreI am grateful for the pet-free environment. I am reviewing this hotel in the context of Fairfield Inns and Courtyards, not Ritz Carltons. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. I do have a few complaints. Some of the lights in the room did not work, and the hotel common areas tended to be warm. However, everything else was fine. The check-in process was flawless, parking was simple, and the location was convenient for our needs. Considering the limited number of hotels that are currently pet-free, I would definitely stay here again. Note to Marriott. It would make life easier if when making reservations on your webpage there was a button to click for pet free hotels. I have to dig down and search each one to find a safe haven.

This hotel smells like broken dreams. The carpet needs to be updated asap. It holds an old smell to…read moreit that can only be fixed by installing new carpet or a severe air out. I stayed here for 3 days. Upon arriving we had to switch rooms because the TV in our first room did not work. The TV in the second room wouldn't connect to any apps like Netflix or Hulu which my kid did not enjoy. Besides the smell and outdated feel the staff is very helpful. The morning breakfast is plentiful. It offers a little of everything. Out of the 3 hotels along each other I would say this is the oldest one. The pool was closed for cleaning something else my son was bummed about. Another thing to mention. I'm not sure if it's the weather or time of year but there is an overwhelming amount of big round like bugs all around the hotel. Your car will be littered with them and it's so scary if you hate bugs as much as I! Keep your windows up!

Rooms were GREAT & had a kitchenette whiched we loved since we stayed four days. Kroger grocery store is just several miles away & other stores. Waffle house across the street . Location is so convenient. Less than nineteen miles from downtown Houston & three miles away from airport. During your stay breakfast is served daily. And three nights of social hour for the guests. THANK YOU TO GM-Donald for his kindness. He definitely goes above & beyond for his guests! Also, THANK YOU Anthony for his southern hospitality we enjoyed his conversations. And for picking us up to & from the airport. Will definitely stay again, next time in Houston.

It's one of those extended stay-type hotels where your room has a full kitchen including a full-size fridge, freezer, and stovetop. Basically, an apartment. Staybridge is your run-of-the-mill hotel that does the job. It's affordable, comfortable, and clean. Not luxurious or anything but you get a lot of bang for your buck. There's free parking. There's free breakfast every day. And more than just cereal, yogurt, and bagels with cream cheese. They also had warm food including a Texas-shaped waffle maker, eggs, and more. Service was friendly. They even have a social hour at the hotel on certain nights with some freebies. And last but not least, a complimentary shuttle to get you to the airport. If you're looking for a convenient place to stay close to the airport, this is a great option. Just don't expect there to be a lot to do in the area. It's not the nicest part of town so stick around at the hotel and enjoy your stay.

I paid with points and money so a 2 day Friday/Saturday stay came under $200 which is typical. I was on the 4th floor. My stay was pretty quiet and comfortable intill Saturday night. It wasn't the hotel's fault but I had some inconsiderate guests having conversations outside of my door and then proceeding to talk and yell loudly in the room next to mine. I knocked the star off because I shouldn't hear anyone's conversation in the room next to mine. Getting in and out of the hotel can be a pain especially on a weekend. The hotel happens to be in a lane that ends so you have to weave in with the other people who decided to wait till the last minute to merge. No airport noises that I noticed. Great value if you want to save some money and stay closer to the mall then the airport.

So one is to assume was the power cut or was it just not on. Started imaging the worst as this in an industrial part of town. Walking down felt like the walking dead as all doors were closed off and no light source. People all strewn across the lobby asking if the airport had electricity or even if there were updates to when we would get a/c as Texas is boiling. Very disappointed when asking front desk was told sorry idk and no partial refund ethier!
