So with all new things in Plano the wait was about 30 mins on a Friday night but was worth it. They have some lounge areas you can wait at or a full service bar if it's just two of y'all trying to enjoy a brew and a burger. The inside is open and airy but not a great place for an intimate dinner. This is a good go to place for dinner with a group of friends just trying to enjoy yourself. They have a good draft list and their menu is your typical burger joint menu with some excellent options though. Our server was Jillian and she was amazing! She was able to answer all our questions and made excellent recommendations. They do a battle of the burgers and I I winded up picking the reigning champion for 4 months running and it was well worth it. This place has a great patio! The only caveat is that sometimes the smoke gets in your eyes or the ash falls on your food. They have a ton of outdoor seating though which I don't really see in Texas. Gluten free bun options aren't going to price gouge you like they do at some places, and they get my respect for having those options to begin with cause it's hard to find good spots with those options even these days. I normally go to the Dallas location, but I was meeting a friend who was closer to this location back in May when restaurants were just opening back up for dining in after the lockdown. We were both very excited to be eating at a restaurant again. It was a nice evening so we sat outside. We were a good distance away from other folks, and maybe it was because we were among the early adopters of going to restaurants again in the time of covid 19, but crowds weren't an issue at all. Our server was running back and forth between the inside and the outdoor seating area with her mask on. We felt bad that we were enjoying prepared food and cocktails in what felt like forever, while the servers had to face additional challenges like working with a mask and gloves on. The food was delicious, and definitely on par with what I had at the Dallas location. We had the Cheese Fries Surprise, which really meant that we then should have split a burger, but we wanted to try 2 different burgers, so we also ordered the Terlingua and... ugh I can't remember the second burger even looking at the menu. I think it was one the has jalapenos on it, but I don't remember there being BBQ sauce... (This is why I should write reviews shortly after the experience.) Burgers were juicy and delicious, and we couldn't finish the huge serving of fries. Tried Rodeo Goat for the first time in celebration of a friend's birthday last Sunday and was thoroughly impressed! The new Plano location was the first time I've been to one, and I had heard great things going in, so I was definitely excited about the experience. Our table ordered the cheese fries surprise and the steaming pile (tater tots, fried egg, goat cheese, truffle oil, bacon and green onion) as apps to share, and I absolutely loved the steaming pile. Would definitely return just for that. A friend and I split the white animal and the sugar burger, both medium rare, and I have to say that the sugar burger was just phenomenal. I loved the interplay of the candied bacon with the peppery arugula and the sweet grilled peaches. So good. The patties were delicious in both burgers, and I also loved the white animal as well, but the sugar burger is definitely what I'd order again next time. Docked a star because the buns didn't hold up too well and got soggy from the patty and toppings pretty quickly, but I would absolutely return for another meal (so glad that the Plano location is close to my office, but I'd probably be passed out in the afternoon if I visited on a weekday). read more

My person and I were craving a burger and beer and decided to give this a try. They were pretty busy and the patio looked pretty full. We decided to sit at the bar and were greeted immediately. The bartender gave us a minute to peruse the menu and was right there when we were ready. I ordered the Telluride with fries and my boo ordered the Bodacious without the BBQ sauce. OMG these burgers came out in good time and looked Devine!! (Sorry I didn't take a pic before diving in. We were starving!). The fries are hand cut and done to perfection. Loved them!! The burgers were a nice medium with a pink middle. My Telluride burger was so good!!! Loved the green chili that gave it a kick. My sexy man and I always swap bites and I will admit, the Bodacious burger was better. We loved them both! Service was great and all the bartenders were attentive! Was good, however was quite harsh on the old coin purse. The atmosphere reminded me a garage.

The salad ingredients were so good but there was such little dressing that I had to ask for extra. There was barely any dressing AT ALL. Also the Churro balls were extremely disappointing. For a dessert they aren't even sweet! There was maybe a drop of filling inside of them. I asked the waitress if they're supposed to be pike that and she said some have filling and some don't. Overall: Food was good enough but staff lacks professionalism and urgency. There are better food places with great staff nearby. I wouldn't recommend this place to my family or friends. We put in an order for an appetizer and then about 15 minutes went by before we had to flag someone down (a food runner) to come take our order because our server was no where to be found. We went during lunch time and it wasn't overly busy, but you could tell other people were on their lunch break like we were. During our wait, 2-3 servers/runners were messing around in the prep area, one of the employees even got down onto both knees in the middle of the prep area. They were joking about something, it was just gross to see someone who handles food to be doing that. I wasn't really impressed with this location. I love rodeo goat, but my visit here didn't exactly reflect well on the brand. While the burger I got and the cheese fries were pretty tasty (I always go for one of the battling burgers), there were major service issues. It took quite some time and a few people passing by our table for us to be waited on, and when we were waited on, it was a different person every time. There was some miscommunication with the bar, as it took over 20 minutes for one drink to come out in a sparsely filled restaurant. By the time we got our food, it was on the cool side. While the food and atmosphere are generally pretty good at Rodeo Goat, I would hesitate to come back. Service is a huge deal for me and can make or break a meal. I might skip this location in favor of the Fort Worth or Dallas location. read more

I've been here a few times and it has gotten better ever since the first time I've come. Even though the impossible patty was overly salty the first time I went, I just tell them not to salt it and the rest of the burger balances it out really well. The fries are well cooked and are not too dense and were also a good amount of crisp. One of my favorites is definitely the Bodacious burger as the crispy onion really balanced out the softer texture of the rest of the patty. It was also incredibly filling with the order of fries. I have only ordered take-out at this restaurant so I can't say much about the service but the restaurant ambience fits the name. It gets pretty busy sometimes so I would recommend ordering online and picking it up. All in all, this is one of my favorite burger places in the area as it offers the impossible patty and a variety of unique burger styles. read more

We had my cousins birthday dinner here and it was a cool environment with a whole bunch of goat heads and photo frames that make the place really fun had our table crackin up lookin around.
