Recently, my wife and I found ourselves needing to find a new vehicle as a result of a car accident. Of course, neither of us were looking forward to the prospect of going from having no car payment, to likely having a steep payment. And quite honestly, we weren't looking forward to working with a car dealership or a car salesman either. We prefer honest, impartial, and expedient service; none of which we believed we would accomplish in working with ANY dealership. Now this much we know; we will forever do business with RODEO FORD in Good Year, Arizona! My family lives in southern Arizona, or about 150 miles, from the dealership. In exploring the possibilities for purchasing a new Ford F-250 Power Stroke Diesel, we came across an online listing for something that appealed to us. Although I feared starting a dialogue with a car lot, I made the call to inquire about a possible purchase. This is where my opinion and attitude about car dealerships changed. I cannot thank my guy, JUSTIN, enough. He was attentive to my needs, advocated on my behalf, and was honest. Over the course of a week we spoke on the phone discussing different trucks and financing options. All of our interactions were great. But where he was amazing, is when I came to the lot to meet him and to finalize my purchase. Unbeknownst to him, Justin commanded my wife and I's respect immediately. His affable personality struck us as endearingly genuine. Further, we believe that Justin has the skills and abilities to be EXCEPTIONAL at whatever he chooses to do in life. Here is this young man, whom we had never met in person, but upon arrival, were made to feel as if we were life-long friends. Sometimes you meet someone in life and you recognize that they have great abilities and lots of time to perfect them even further. This young man is no exception. If I were a betting man, I'd bet on Justin. He has limitless potential and charisma to match. My hopes and prayers are that he prospers to his greatest potential because the people in his life will benefit greatly. I know my wife and I are extremely appreciative of our opportunity to work with him, more than he even knows. We are simply blessed to have had Justin brought into this scenario and our lives. We are not "Yelpers," or Google review types, but this kid is worth it and we cannot say thank you enough to him. We would be remiss if we did not also take an opportunity to thank Steve (Finance manager) who also provided exceptional service and interesting story that had my wife and I captivated with our mouths agape...but you'll have to come into the dealership and hear it from him first hand. And get that car or truck while you're there too, it is worth it when you are working with Rodeo Ford. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR SERVICE REPAIRS, OK FOR SALES BUT NOT SERVICE. Brought in a ford truck with an electrical problem, service advisor Raul J. didnt really listen to the problem, got the vehicle returned to me with - flat front tire (on an explorer which are prone to roll overs), broken valve cover (from timing chain guide breaking-prob not their fault), window still completely down, grease hand prints all over white hood and still had to be towed home. I paid towing both ways. then found out that the original problem was not repaired, called Raul and he paid towing (after some hesitation). then he had repaired again and told me that it was the battery terminal and they replaced it for free (thought it was very nice of them). I asked if they would pay towing back home again for me (since i paid twice already) and after hesitating again, he agreed. waited 3 days and after no response to my 2 calls and messages i finally just paid for the towing...again. Get it home and find out that they did not replace the battery terminal, still the same old terminal, so either he lied or just didnt want to explain what the actual problem was in detail and took easy way out. Ended up fixing the timing chain myself and it runs great now (they said it needed new engine, only has 70k miles on it tho). Called the manager who intially said that they would refund my money for whole repair (which is more than generous) then after talking to his tech (and i presume Raul) sided with them and said he would not even covered the third tow bill but that since Raul "said" he'd cover the fourth back to my house (which he didnt) that to "mail" him the receipt and in a couple weeks theyd send me a check for it. He didnt care about: flat tire, window down (and unsecure for 2 days), grease all over hood, repair coming back, lied to about parts being put on that were not and the 3 days i was without it waiting for Raul to tow it which never happened. And still never got the 99 point inspection done that i had asked for even after all that. Very bad service from a large Ford dealer, use any other Ford dealership for service; Sanderson Ford is great, Tom Jones Ford is great really have never heard of such bad bad service from any other ford dealer in AZ. read more

I just bought my 3rd vehicle from Scott at Rodeo Ford and everything was great. Scott took care of everything and got me the payment I needed, while I got to continue my day at home and going to work. In addition, I finally was given the 1.9% interest rate on my first purchase ever with Ford. I've had so many Fords dating back to my 1975 Ford Maverick that I would not buy anything else. This purchase was a FULLY LOADED PLUG IN HYBRID ESCAPE with a MOONROOF This vehicle has everything imaginable and with that said I have to give a shout out to MARCOS. Marcos is a young but VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE person that gave me an orientation to what my new Escape can do. This guy was very knowledgeable and I must say that is the first time anyone truly went over a vehicle with me, however, this vehicle delivers alot of options and probably warranted it. In addition to the great service I got from Scott and Marcos, I have to give a shout out out to Ous in Finance, Ous worked the payment so much that he got me an EXTENDED WARRANTY that includes OIL CHANGES all the way to 100,000 MILES AND GAP Coverage. I normally do not buy Gap Coverage but with negative equity on my trade and this vehicle being the most expensive one I ever bought, well I truly need it. I do want to add that they had to get the vehicle from another Ford Dealership in Chandler, when it arrived Scott called me up so I can come up and take a look at it on my lunch break from work. When I arrived he just handed me the keys and told me to come back in 4-5 hours when I'm off from work. That was super cool. There was no pressure or anything here. Everything was so stressed free I got to be at home while they worked the deal until it was time to pick up the vehicle. Also, I casually dropped in on the General Manager, David while he was working in his office. The huge SNICKERs BAR in a Shadow Box on his Credenza striked my curiosity, so I stopped and asked about it David was so nice and friendly and took time to chat with me a bit. I would like to take this time to ALERT AZ on how wonderful RODEO FORD, Goodyear is. I have been doing business with this location since 2005 and have seen many changes. One of the best changes that I knew I stuck it out for was when Rodeo Ford took over. The OUTSTANDING Customer Service I receive from Glen Bola, James D. Green and Tom Grader is without a doubt stellar! I say this because I have had my F150 serviced at this location for many years now and have never received the service I do from these gentleman! Our family like most have weathered the economic downfalls and Tom Grader my Service Advisor recognized my loyalty and Rodeo Ford took over a $170.00 hit for me to replace a part that was 8 years old! Rightfully should have been replaced! Tom quickly got into action and saw I just spent $400.00 two weeks ago on a oil leak and felt the need to comp the labor on this new part I was needing! I also have Stellar service with James D. Green with my monthly oil changes...! James D. Green is quick to return call, make appointment, washes my truck and makes sure everything is in tip top shape before I drive my vehicle off their lot EVERY TIME. This was the third major, and extremely expensive, repair on my vehicle in just nine months, on top of other ongoing issues I've experienced over the past three and a half years. When I learned that Ford Motor Company wouldn't be offering any financial assistance, it was disheartening and honestly, overwhelming. From the start, Armando was calm, compassionate, and incredibly helpful. He kept me updated throughout the entire process, answered all of my questions, and made sure I felt taken care of from beginning to end. He went above and beyond in every way, even arranging a rental vehicle when he didn't have to. His professionalism and kindness made a hard situation feel far more manageable. I wanted to share my experience with everyone. I bought a new car from Rodeo Ford in Goodyear, Az. I have had a few minor issues with the car and everyone at Rodeo Ford has been great!! This is where it gets even better. I got a flat tire on my vehicle and could not find the car-jack to take off my tire. I called Rodeo Ford, talked to the service manager (Darren Smith), and asked him where the car-jack was kept so I could take my tire off to get a new tire put on. Darren told me that the 2013 Ford Fusions do not have a spare tire or a car-jack, but there was a fix-it-flat kit in the trunk. Unfortunately, my tire was completely blown out and the fix-it-flat would not work on it. He told me that I would have to use the roadside service to have my car towed in to have the tire replaced. Darren then offered to have one of his employees come over to my house with a car-jack to take off my tire and bring it back to the dealership to have a new tire put on. What great service Rodeo Ford gives their customers. I have been very impressed with the service that they have provided me. Rodeo Ford has gained a lifetime customer and I strongly recommend buying and having your vehicle serviced there. From the time that I bought the car to the few times that I have had my car in the service department, everyone has been great!! Even the greeters in the service department know me by my last name. Just left this unprofessional and down right rude car dealership. Went in looking for a f-150 used truck. They only had four. Not a big deal but the salesman who was unwilling to listen to what we wanted a truck kept trying to sell my wife a 13 k used expedition NOT WHAT WE WANTED! Since they didn't have used what we were looking for we looked at new since he said the rebates were what the lowest. Very quickly picked out the truck we wanted. Even though he kept trying to push us into a lower end and his words "much cheaper" truck. Again not even bothering to listen to what we wanted. Finally he took down the info and took us back to the showroom where the man in the glass box gave us his "best number" I told the sales UNPROFESSIONAL the the number was to high. While in front of him looked up what the same vehicle was being quoted at by consumer websites. I showed him the phone and he proceeded to tell me "no its not possible" and that I couldn't look up that vehicle package without a Vin number. Really...??? Then when asked to just go back and get his manager he gave me an angry look and said no that's not possible either. So I got up and told him either he or the internet was lying to me. He chased us out and as I was getting into the vehicle whom I can only assume was the manager I was asking for came running out. Maybe he could have helped us but by this time that rude and in my opinion lying excuse for a salesperson chased us to another dealer. read more

Having just moved to this area, my wife and I decided to downsize from two vehicles to one. We recently retired and found we did not need to keep two vehicles. We finally decided to sell both and look for an Explorer that met both of our needs. (mostly room for family when they visit). Having worked with one salesman in our previous town for over 25 years, I was very concerned about dealing with a new dealer and salesman. (Generally car salesmen are not very high on my trust list) We went through Costco, which was the best route to take, everything open and upfront. We arrived at Rodeo and met with Mark Kirkley, who handles the Costco clients. We were very upfront with him regarding our expectations and not interested in playing the "car buying game." Mark responded to our concerns and needs and without question did not get into the "game". He was open, offered suggestions, and answered all of our questions. Mark has followed up with us to make sure we are happy with the vehicle and made sure we knew we could contact him at anytime. We have his cell number and we called with one question, he responded immediately, even on his day off. In reading some of the other reviews, I would suggest seeking Mark out to assist you. We stopped in to see what we could do on a new Explorer. They had the vehicle we wanted and the sales person asked if we could talk numbers. Went inside and waited 20 minutes for them to come back with what was actually higher than the Internet price because it included our Honda Pilot Touring trade in. When we left the manager accosted us and wanted to know what what was wrong. When we told him the price was ridiculous he said we should have told him we had looked on the internet. What? So they won't give you as ridiculous a price quote if they know you looked it up on their website first? These guys need to realize the internet is not their friend and if they continue these practices they are going to have a ton of vehicles on their lot at the end of each month. Their Kelly blue book estimate on our trade was 1000 lower than we found on their Kelly Bluebook interface on their own websight. Funny part was we later called their internet sales and they told us they thought the dealer was ridiculous and they would have walked out too. We decided to wait to buy the 2018 when it comes out. My family and I were towing my 5th wheel trailer up north for a weekend trip with my F250 Super Duty, when I lost turbo about 40 miles outside the city. I called Heather (service advisor) and told her what was going on with the truck. She figured a blown hose was most likely issue, and was correct. She said I've got no way to get a tech to you, but if you come in I have a Diesel Tech ready and a bay available. So we turned back down the hill and headed to Rodeo Ford. I pulled into the lot, Heather pointed me to a spot to drop the trailer, and as soon as the ball was clear she drove it over to the bay for the tech to tear into it. They had the hose replaced and back to me to hook back up in about 35 minutes. We hooked up the trailer, and headed back up north for a great weekend out of the valley heat. I've always experienced good service at Rodeo since I've purchased my truck, but this level of customer service was above and beyond my expectations of what I'm sure was already a busy weekend shop performing scheduled work was able to adjust and take on. My trucks fuel pump went out right before a doctor's appointment. A 1999 ford F-150 that served me well. I searched the internet for three days, every dealer in Arizona. Nobody could beat Rodeo's price. I told their sales associate Brody Deweese that I lived in North Eastern Arizona and it would be after Thanksgiving before I could make it down to Rodeo Ford to purchase a 2017 Ford Escape. Within minutes Brody whipped out a way to receive my purchase. The deal was really painless especially with the deal I received, we did the deal over the phone and Brody had two fine sales associates drive my Escape to my doorstep. Now this deal went down in late afternoon and was above the call of duty. WOW!! What a deal! The time and agony involved with buying a vehicle went right out the window! I traveled from El Paso TX to purchase my vehicle from Rodeo Ford....their customer service is top-notch! My salesman and finance officer Mr. David Garcia was courteous, honest, and friendly. He worked tirelessly to find me the exact car I wanted. In fact, he worked a deal with another dealership to give me every option possible...he stated "I just want you to be happy with your choice". He also contacted 10 different banks in order to get me the best rate possible, saving me thousands of dollars over the life of the loan. Additionally, after I arrived back in El Paso, I had to register my vehicle, which required a document from the dealership. I contacted Mr. Garcia on his day off and he was able to contact the business manager at Rodeo in order to send the paperwork as quickly as possible. My first visit to Rodeo Ford dealership, I've always taken my car to the Ford Dealership I bought it at and their service has declined. Working with Mel was amazing. She helped me so much in trying to figure out what was going on with the noise occurring in the front of my car. I had an oil change done and coolant flush done which was needed. They were thorough and didn't offer me unnecessary services. Her interaction with me was respectful and patient and she is very knowledgeable and doesn't speculate "what could be the issue". This me me feel very comfortable and confident that I was being taken care of and treated fairly vs. just another customer. I'm really leery about dealerships and their intentions....Trust is a big factor for me! They are very attentive and great with follow through. Mel made sure of that and I really appreciate it. While traveling through Phoenix, we had our check engine light come on. We called the service department at Rodeo Ford and spoke with Richard (Wiborg) who was able to get us in and have the problem diagnosed the same afternoon that we called. The part had to be ordered (locally) so we scheduled service the following morning. The part was delivered in the morning before we arrived and they completed the repair within hours. The diesel technician (Kevin) did a great job and was very conscious about keeping the interior and exterior of our vehicle clean and grease free. He also discovered a small leak in our cooling system and allowed us to decide if we wanted it taken care of or to wait for later. This is hands down the best car Dealership in Arizona. Case and point, I was trying to buy a new car so I made a appointment at Mark Mitsubishi. Upon arriving I washed greeted by the group of sales people that were just hanging around out front. But once inside I was taken to a office were I sat for the next hour with no one talking to me. So I got up and left with no car. Well glad that happened because I made a appointment with Rodeo Ford and set up a time to meet with Mr. Bobby and Mrs. Linda and Mr Rick and now I am the proud owner of a new vehicle!!
