After finishing that order, she asked if we had been in before and when we told her no, she explained how Froyo worked and that they offered smoothies and boba teas. My friend got a frozen coffee made with vanilla froyo and it was so delicious. I opted for the 12 oz cup of froyo. I got the vanilla, cheesecake, mango, and watermelon froyos. I also topped them with fresh strawberries and blueberries. It is a bit different from other froyo places as you get to fit all you can in a certain sized cup vs being weighed and charged per ounce. The place was immaculately clean and we had such amazing service!! If you're in La Junta, make sure you check this gem off to satisfy your sweet tooth!!

I encountered Kiki's at the Woodland Park Farmer's Market…read more First- I want to say that the baked items smelled delicious! Unfortunately, due to multiple allergies I could not try the items. The gentleman was very nice at the stand. When I explained my allergies he did state that he had some coconut cookies made with just coconut, eggs, and sugar. The price for 4 small cookies was 10.00 (not posted that is just what the guy told me). I thought that was overpriced especially considering the size and also the fact that after 2 days they were not edible so when you do buy these you need to eat them the same day. I do wish there were more items made with allergy-friendly items such as almond or tapioca flour versus grain, especially because the business carries many vegan products. I am hoping the next time I encounter this business I can buy more products and they will not be so overpriced.

The fuel station is conveniently arranged and easily accessible from three different directions…read more The store has added some solid protein items, such as jerky and trail mix, for those who are looking for more than sugary snacks. The clerks have been courteous every time I've been in. However -- in the spring of 2020, the store removed all of its ice cream and other freezer items and did not replace them for several months. They offer Dippin' Dots, prepackaged in six flavors, at prices much higher than cartons of ice cream would be. Update: I was told, and have now verified, as of September 2020, that the store has replaced or repaired the big freezer, so all ice cream and other frozen products are as they were before this past spring. I know that I was not the only person who had given up going in there to look for ice cream, so I hope this review will make others aware that all is now well.

Find it @ the Loaf'n Jug…read more I've been to many places in Rocky Ford, but this place takes the cake. Why would a convenient store/gas station get such high praise from me?? WELL, because it's a little slice of fast paced heaven for me. Everywhere I've been to in town has a slow and old school feel to it. From the parks to the liquor stores, nothing says small town like, well, everything IN the 4 block radius we currently call home. The good folks at the Loaf make me feel like there IS an active and high energy civilization outside these city limits. They gotta red box out front, a good sized convenient store area inside, quick eats you'd find @ a 7-11, and even a subway with an eating area attached. Yee-haww, your dang skippy I like this place! The lighting is bright and the place is cleaner then other places around. Sure it's all junk food and calorie ridden drinks but it gives me sanity. I've just been once and you bet your lucky sand dollar that I'll be here more often. Even though I'm not a fan, I guess a subway sammie is in order. Hey, I might even start to like 'em again! The Loaf... is where it's at. =)

We ordered the margarita pizza based on the photo we saw on Yelp (we also often judge Italian restaurants based on their margarita pizza) and we were pleasantly surprised! We starred this restaurant in our map app so we can stop again each time we drive through!

They open 630 or 7 am so that gives you your early morning wireless. It's a great place to hang and pick up local flavor as well. Update: on the second morning I did have the espresso, and it was equally good.
