I spoke to their agent and disclosed all information in the beginning of the process and during the process. And yet the agent could not properly give me an accurate quote. I addition to providing me with incorrect premiums, I contracted an auto insurance only to find out that my rate was doubled 1 month later. Not only did I loose money but I lost my continuous coverage rating which apparently is a big item in NY. In addition the office manager was in copy to all my emails and did nothing to correct the situation. In all, the company did not properly train their staff, did not take accountability for the issue and did nothing to make the situation right by the customer which was their fault.

I had my 2019 taxes prepared on May 7, 2021. A week later, I had my 2020 taxes prepared. Very…read moreexpensive. A month later, I had still not received my 2019 refund that was supposed to be mailed as a paper check. June 21, I go back to check on my my refund status for 2019. The clerk had a very nasty attitude (most of the staff have attitudes) and said I should call the IRS. I called the IRS on June 27. It turns out that whoever prepared my taxes did not include my apartment number and didn't even bother to ask me for it. Now, the IRS has to put a trace on my check and I have to wait an additional 6 weeks for my refund. As of yet, I have not received my 2021 refund either. Not only will I not use their very unprofessional services again, but if anyone asks, I'll tell them to stay the hell away from Burns Rodriguez and associates!!!

I had to notice mistakes and call back to get them resolved. I was getting ready to switch to another company and was referred to John Sules office. It has been the type of experience I was looking for. I have only been with this office for about a month, however, the change was immediate. Friendly staff, following through, calls back and the type of office that you would expect as excellent customer service. Insurance is something you have to have, and when you need to talk to an agent, something is usually wrong and you want a sympathetic helpful person on the other end of the line. I have had that type of experience with John Sules office staff. I am in a claim right now, and I am being treated with the respect and follow up I would expect at a time like this. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing and concerning. During the pre-engagement period, Sandy was responsive and helpful. However, after I signed the engagement letter, key components of the originally discussed scope were omitted without adequate clarification. I take responsibility for not catching this in the final agreement--lesson learned. In a rush to get things done, I agreed to additional charges to complete my 2024 financials. Immediately after providing my payment information, my card was charged more than we discussed. While frustrating, I allowed it, hoping to get my tax returns completed without further issues. Over the next two months, I received little to no progress updates. Instead, I was asked for even more money, despite our flat-fee agreement. At one point, I received a generic email stating that my tax return extension was filed--but I never received confirmation or a copy, which is standard practice with every other CPA I've worked with. When I finally pressed for clarification, I was ignored for several days. Eventually, I was sent a letter explaining that the IRS had rejected my Form 7004 extension due to a software issue, and that a paper submission had supposedly been mailed. This was never communicated to me at the time it happened. By this point, I had also discovered that no bookkeeping work had been completed--despite already being paid for. I made the decision to terminate the relationship. As of today, I have not received any completed bookkeeping work. The only thing I received was a partially prepared tax return that I would never file, as I genuinely believe it could risk triggering an audit. In my opinion, Canna CPAs operates with poor communication, lacks transparency, and did not deliver on the services I paid for. Proceed with caution and make sure you read every line of any engagement letter before signing.

They collected a lot of personal information but failed to deliver any results. From my perspective, they appear to be a scam. I've reported them to the Better Business Bureau and the police. If something seems too good to be true, it probably is. Be cautious with the amount of personal information you share with them.
