A fun, small candy shop on the main through way of Park Ave. It's got a good mix of candy and some odd and ends. It's been around for quite some time and hasn't changed much over the years, offering a consistent feel. Staff is friendly and quick to greet customers. It's a fun spot to pop in and get a sweet treat if you're in the area. Overall: A Cute candy shop on Park Ave. Easy to find a sweet treat or try out a new candy you haven't had before!

What a fun place to go to sooo many goodies and pop sodas you don't get to see in our days. The candy store brings you back to childhood days when you bought candy for 5 cents or even a penny. Of course saw these candies like vintage lol so of course price is higher. But overall a wonderful experience down memory lane for sure.

5 Stars for a retro candy shop that goes above and beyond with hard-to-find flavors and fun little chotchkies that would make for a great gift basket! I was walking along Park Ave with my nephew last weekend and he insisted we go in to this magical shop we almost passed. I've seen and walked by Rocket Fizz a million times, but never actually entered and now I'm glad I did! Especially given its location on Park Ave, I am thrilled that something old-school like this has lasted. The area is filled with restaurants and fancy shops, so this feels like the not-so-little nostalgic shop that could! If you're looking for unusual candies or sodas, look no further. We're talking ALL the flavors of taffy you could dream of, for example. Beyond the candies though, there were some really fun nostalgic toys hanging on the walls and along the counters. So, if you're not such a sweet aficionado (as I am not), don't sleep on this spot for odd little gifts and toys that you won't find at a big box store. Overall a big, clean, well-lit candy shop that deserves a spot on the avenue!

I have been here one of the rocket because it locations before but it was in Dezerland I had no idea they had one here and went to a park! So I had to stop in- I picked up a couple of different chocolate peanut butter candies for zach each were $2.59 to $2.69. I also picked up for myself a bottle of sarsaparilla which was around six dollars. Oh I absolutely love the store and I am definitely coming back! 10/10

This was penny candy when I was a child, now it's .25 cents a peice. Can you say INFLATION?!

The place is pure nostalgia at its best. I'm not big on candy, but this place was cool.

Such a cute candy store with old school candies galore. They have the weird flavored sodas and Asian candy that I used to loooove when I was younger. If you like taffy, this is the place for you. They have an amazing selection and the workers let us each take one of our choosing when we left the store. I got the pickle flavored one and... it was amazing! If you're on Park Avenue, definitely swing on by.

Very cool spot if you're looking for a blast to the past! They have a bunch of candy, trinkets, and weird soda flavors to choose from that you wouldn't find in regular stores. I was looking for specific items and the guy at the counter did not hesitate to help. He was very personable and made my shopping experience a whole lot easier. Thank you Rocket Fizz Winter Park

I first fell in love with this candy store on a trip to St. Petersburg, Florida. Rocket Fizz was founded Ryan and Rob who started their business by selling fake dog doodoo and other novelties. There are also stores in Wesley Chapel and Clearwater along with 90 other Rocket Fizz stores. This store is on the end of Park Avenue in Winter Park. Rocket Fizz is famous for the 500 kinds of soda which include traditional flavors like root beer, birch beer, and cream soda, and more out there flavors like s'mores, mustard, bacon with chocolate, fungal fruit, dinosaur dung, ranch, and buffalo wing. The birthday cake soda would make the perfect gift for anyone celebrating their special day. This would be five stars for the soda selection alone but that is not all they sell. They are also the purveyor of every kind of candy imaginable. Nostalgic favorites are on the shelf along with the latest and greatest. This time of year they have a very unique selection of holiday candy that would be perfect for any stocking. I had to pick up some Santa bait so the youngest on my list can lay their traps. In addition to the candy they also sell novelty items and signs. This store is so fun. You can give a gift that brings back a childhood memory or give something they have never seen before. The only downside is the merch is pricey. A few treats can add up fast. Still I wish Rocket Fizz would make it's way to South Florida. For now it is another Central Florida gem.

What a fun shop! I recently accepted a TikTok challenge to trade sweets from the US for sweets from another Tik Tokers home country. Rocket Fizz was recommended to me and what an experience I had. There was so much to choose from. They have chocolate, taffy, gummies, hard candies, games and retro sodas. If you are looking for a way to spruce up a gift basket or just have a sweet tooth for yourself check out Rocket Fizz on Park Ave in Winter Park.

What can you say about Rocket Fizz? It's just a fun place to be. Unique soda, specialty candy, saltwater taffy, and other wonderfully novel things all around. There is plenty to browse around and see for a while.......chances are you won't catch everything. The place feels like a child's fun factory as soon as you walk in the door. It's hard to resist the urge to buy one of the hundred and hundreds (not an exaggeration) flavors of soda ....Everything from Cola and grape... Bacon and Ketchup.....seriously all kinds of stuff here. The plays tries to vary very unique and specialty items that are just difficult the find elsewhere. If you want to break into childhood squeal....check them out. There is no other way to put it than to say this is just a fun place to be!

Parking is a little tricky, but definitely doable. There's quite a bit of metered parking, and we were able to find a free meter on a Saturday by parking on a nearby side street. The moment we walked in, we were amazed, and clearly hungry, because everything looked so delicious! My daughter made a beeline straight for the $5 candy buffet, which she absolutely loved. It's such a fun and unique option for kids. The vintage bottle drink freezer was another highlight, so colorful and stocked with all kinds of interesting and nostalgic flavors. They also had some funny gag gifts and a great selection of bulk candy at reasonable prices. One of our favorite touches was the little train running around the ceiling, it's such a cute detail that really adds to the experience. They even have a penny press, so be sure to bring two quarters and a shiny penny! We will definitely be back and highly recommend this spot if you're looking for fun gifts or a sweet treat, especially for kids.

The sweet smell of sugar smacks you in the face once you enter. It's a friendly yet strong slap of everything chocolate. I walked around the shop looking at the sugar cookies, chocolate this and that, and I was pleasantly reminded of the chocolate and pastry shop in my hometown on Ocean Street. It was as if I had been transported back in time to that exact location. Seeing those sugar cookies in Valentine's, St. Patrick's, and Easter designs was a trip down memory lane. Whatever you are looking for in chocolate, Peterbrooke has it or can make it, but tonight was about Gelato I know a little something about Gelato after spending a week in Italy last year and being sweetly spolied by Black Market Gelato in Boise, Idaho. While I did not sample the Gelato here, two diners did, and the looks of pure joy and ecstasy on the face was all that I needed to know. They both had their heads back, eyes closed, and savored each spoonful of deliciousness. As a matter of fact, both of them finished their gelato in the store as it was that good. If you're in the area and need a chocolate alligator or anything else chocolate, stop by and take a stroll down memory lane and get some gelato for Pete's sake.
