This particular event was standing only and despite the concert being sold out it did not feel cramped. There was a great big bar at the back of the hall and getting drinks was quick and easy. The prices for the drinks were also reasonable and the choices were ok. The acoustics in the venue were quite ok however the sound system in use on the night was a bit raspy and sounded not as clean as I would have expected. Not sure it was the venue or the choice of sound equipment that evening. Happily come back here anyday for a gig or two. Getting here is easy on the train.

The…read morestanding area is broad, so I was able to get close enough to the stage without much trouble. Even though I was close to the speakers, the sounds were not overbearingly loud, and the floors did not shake with the bass. Drinks are fairly priced for a music venue. I was there for a rock concert, and to my surprise, people were moshing and crowdsurfing. Security was quite good in catching the crowdsurfers, and no one got hurt during the moshing. Overall, it was a decent experience.
