This cozy cottage cafe was such a slice of heaven for a southern style Sunday brunch vibe …read more I had the vegan French toast with quinoa and my plus one had an omelette and opted for some of my quinoa too! It was way too much food and we were stuffed but everything was delicious! The owner has such a fascinating story how she opened this place and continues to just go above and beyond to making each persons experience a memorable one. If you're ever in the area, please check this gem out! Also, this is pet and child friendly for those that asked! P.S-can you spot the bluebirds in the photo?

I'm finding it super hard to slam businesses during this weird "new normal" because after my visit…read moreI'd have normally given it 1 star. It took nearly TWO HOURS to get all the food out for my family of four. What made it worse was that my husband's food arrived a full 45 minutes before the last plate. Since we all eat together...everyone except the youngest had cold food. I know this owner has gone through a lot and I feel for her. I've been here only twice - once after they just opened and then once three weeks ago. The first time was amazing! So cute and quaint and the food looked and tasted great. This time....I didn't bother taking pics of burnt pancakes and overdone eggs. There's no amount of excuses that make up for that. No cook should ever send out a plate that they know is wrong. The young lady even said "it's a little toasty" staring at the burnt pancake. While I'd love to say I'd be back....there's a lot of local places. I don't think I'll be back but wish her all the best.

Lots of great vendors, that wait for this twice a year event!…read more It's well worth it! Always an enjoyable experience. Everything, that you want or need, sells out super fast. It was extremely packed with people on a Friday at 10 AM. Everyone was really courteous. (Lots of bumping into one another). What impressed me more than anything else; People were actually kind to one another. Wow! Lots of people using walkers and wagons. How they walked/tackled the uneven dirt was impressive. Kudos to y'all. Only a few "people traffic jams". Just have to learn to navigate those! It's free parking and approximately 12$ per person entrance fee. Lots of staff to help with parking. Shout out to Joe Cuellar once again for providing fantastic music! Take a photo at the entrance as proof you already paid. This way you can walk your purchases back to your car! Plus with a picture you can return all weekend for this event! That's a win in my book. Multiple food vendors! And like anywhere, never enough restrooms. I pre-purchased my tickets months in advance. I will tell you this venue will over-kill you with emails and texts. They sell their tickets for the event through Huminex. It's too much. Specially, if you already bought your tickets. Multiple sellers, my understanding is that it is difficult to get into this show as a seller. I certainly miss when some of my favorites are not here. I miss the soaps, balsamic vinegar, crafters, and true vintage sellers. Please bring cash to these events. It runs smoother when you do! Some will even give discounts for cash sales. It has now been updated that the sellers have to carry their own internet for sales up here. I love what Myers does with this location! Good job on the vintage fair marketing via Huminex. May 2026

This cotton mill manufactured the largest amount of denim material in the world at one time. The structure sat abandoned for years until enterprising entrepreneurs repurposed it as office space and venue. I recommend you visit to inspect the " bones" of the original construction. Artifacts of it's former manufacturing self are strewn about. Check it out!

This is a cute venue. I love the history behind it. The lighting where they request you to set up the wedding party table is very dimly lit so you'll need to bring some sort of lighting. There isn't a ton of parking so make sure your guests carpool. You're required to use caterers off their list. I think the list had about 6-7 on it. The room they offer for weddings inside is a hallway. Literally a hallway. It's definitely not worth the $1,500 price tag they put on it. I would recommend using the outdoor space if you can. It's spacious and looks like a spot you'd have a wedding. It's perfect for an October wedding! The woman who showed us the venue spent maybe ten minutes with us. We felt a little rushed. But then again it was 7pm so maybe she was ready to go home. We never did get a follow up call or email from her. I didn't quite get that warm feeling from them. It felt very corporate. They book up pretty quick so you'll want to schedule your date here way in advance. Overall a cute place to have a wedding. Just make sure you hire someone to bring in lighting and you book your wedding not in peak season or you'll have to book two years out. Update: I received a message from the woman who did my tour. 1) She addressed me as Samantha. My name is Stefanie. Therefore she showed a lack of attention to detail 2) She stated she was in a hurry because she was showing 2 groups at the same time. During our tour she told us we were the last group and there was no one here so we were free to wander around wherever. We never saw a second group or couple looking around. 3) She was confused by my comment about lack of parking. Due to her lack of information and not telling us they apparently have a second parking lot, how were we to know there was additional parking elsewhere other than the one small lot we saw when we pulled in? 4) Regarding the head table. During our tour she told us that's where they put the head table. There was no comment about it being able to be elsewhere. She said that's where it will be set up for your event so it didn't even sound negotiable. My review still stands.
