The turn off of the interstate is slightly weird, in that you have to navigate a service road that has yield signage. Yet after making that quick right and left turn, you are in the parking lot. The room itself seemed to have been upgraded/renovated within the last couple of years, and was remarkably clean and comfortable. If I had one complaint, it may have been the pillows-very small. They were almost like Chicklet-sized. Oh well. Breakfast was standard Hampton Inn-style continental- just enough. The pool onsite is indoors, and located on the first floor just beyond the elevators. Worst Hotel Experience I've Ever Had…read more I travel frequently and consider myself pretty easygoing, but this was by far the worst hotel experience I've ever had. The property was clearly undergoing major renovations, apparently related to significant water/roof damage. There were tarps, construction debris, and work throughout the property. The entire hotel was hot, humid, musty, and smelled strongly of mildew. The room's A/C worked, but the carpet actually felt damp, and the mildew/smoke smell was so strong that my clothes and hair smelled after staying there. I reported the condition to the front desk immediately after checking in, but no alternative accommodations were offered. There were numerous other issues: broken ice machines, unreliable Wi-Fi, a malfunctioning TV remote, extremely thin/cheap toilet paper, and a pool area that was so hot and poorly ventilated that it was uncomfortable to even be in the water. The patio was completely closed and had no furniture. Although the hotel is dog-friendly, there was virtually nowhere appropriate to walk a dog, with the patio closed and very limited grassy areas. The staff was also unfriendly and unwelcoming from the moment we arrived, before any of these issues occurred. The situation with our reservation became even more frustrating. After we reported the conditions the hotel canceled our second night without our authorization, contacted my family and told them they needed to leave, and there were subsequently multiple charges and adjustments that had to be sorted out. I have photos and videos documenting the condition of the property. I honestly don't understand why this hotel is operating and charging normal rates while undergoing this level of renovation. Guests should be clearly informed about the condition of the property before booking. I would not recommend this hotel and will not stay here again.

I reported to the front desk, and the young lady offered me a shower in another room the next morning. I felt paranoid and uncomfortable all night, concerned about bugs. I appreciate the gesture, but I am deeply upset that I paid for a room that was unclean and not satisfactory. I emailed the general manager on 12/27/2024 but received no response. They have a doggy potty area out back by the parking lot. Pool: small. I didn't use it, so I can't say much for it. Breakfast: The breakfast is continental. I'm used to the waffles and this time they didn't have them. I am not sure if it is due to the pandemic. They did have scrambled eggs, sausage, and hashbrowns/tater tots for the hot portion.
