Being on a tight budget and having several requirements for funding a purchase and with little knowledge of motorbikes I really needed to find someone that would care about making a customer happy rather than just getting the biggest sale possible. Thankfully Robspeed were just that place. I walked in and had a look around the very spacious showroom and although there were several staff members around I wasn't pounced on as soon as I started looking. After a quick wander around the sales director asked me if I needed help just to give him or one of the other members of staff a shout. I told him of my requirements and my distinct lack of knowledge and he began to ask pertinent questions regarding useage etc which would determine what I needed. I couldn't fault the help I got in deciding what I wanted. There was none of this trying to get the most expensive bike shifted, in fact the first recommendation was one of the cheaper yamaha scooters and although there were some others that I liked the look of which were more expensive I was told that as daily commuters; and especially through the winter, they wouldn't do as well. I got several recommendations at various price levels and a lot of information to take away with me to digest. When I returned I had another quick chat and decided on a more expensive yamaha scooter and the sales director even managed to get me a new colour that had only just been released - delivered from france within a week. Nothing was too much trouble for them and because my budget was tight they assisted in getting me all the equipment I needed to go with the scooter with some hefty discounts. Again, one of the best purchasing experiences I have had and I will not hesitate in going back. They did exactly what they said they would do, when they said it would be done. The other good thing was that when comparing their prices to others in the country selling the same thing they were cheaper. They also do servicing and mots. read more
