We fired Jonathan Platt/ABC on 12/2/2022 via our attorney. We hired Juan Balta on 12/26/2022 because he had parted ways with Jonathan Platt/ABC and while he was onsite, he left a favorable impression. Below is part of a text with Juan Balta in SC (Feb 20/2023) Juan Balta agreed to do 3 jobs 1) framing; 2) flooring leveling; 3) more flooring and fireplace/wall for a combined total of $42,000 which were labor costs ONLY. Those were his offers/numbers with the exception of #3 which we negotiated down by $3,000. We have paid him $xx,xxx since 12/26/22. We paid for all building supplies. He over promised and failed to secure a crew for the labor that we paid. We appreciate the work he did and we paid for it. He did NOT complete his obligation. We feel frustrated and betrayed. Our remodel project will now take another 4-6 months to complete because of his failure to do what he agreed to do.
