The shop is extremely clean. It's not a mess like some of the other shops in town, where they have holes in furniture and magazines and papers everywhere. I would advise you to book appointments ahead of time, the appointment times go fast. Keep up the good work Dale and Chris.

Steel & Steam was recommended, and Aubrey (their esthetician) personally reached out to me via message. After talking with her, she explained the different treatments she offers, I went ahead and booked an appointment for microplaning with her before hanging up. I love the name, a play on "steel" scissors (hair cuts) and steam (facial services). My facial was very relaxing. It was nice to chat with Aubrey as she worked. She does the microplaning first - the skin is dry, so the razor gets more of the dead skin as opposed to wetting the skin. My appointment lasted an hour and a half. I felt I definitely got my money's worth ($70).

We walked in for our appt at 1:27 and walked out at 1:40 where after that short absolute RACE of time, my 10 year old devastatingly bawled his eyes out the entire way home until I myself could try to fix the damage Corey had done. After making a Facebook post about how traumatic this experience was I had a flood of comments from others all experiencing the same type of treatment from this shop especially at Coreys hands. Im baffled as to how this place is still in business. I will never return and I will forever spread the word to help other families avoid this horrific behavior. As a licensed cosmetologist for over 17 years I'm utterly shocked at not only the lack of basic professionalism and clearly a lack of barbering education/skills, but the aggressive MANHANDLING this jerk handled my son with. SHAMEFUL. Parents PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE avoid this place at all costs!

I had a very poor experience at this barber shop. After my appointment, I had to leave to retrieve…read moremy cash (my chip was not working) and returned maybe 5 minutes later. When I came back, I politely raised a concern about my haircut, specifically that he did leave a noticeable bald spot that I do not have. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the barber immediately became defensive, argumentative, and dismissive. Rather than listening or trying to understand the issue, he flat-out denied any problem and insisted that my hair was "thinning," which was both inaccurate and unnecessary. (All I did up to this point was mention what he did) I explained that I am very familiar with my own hair and would know if my hair was thinning, I want to also mention that I'm 21, but the conversation continued to be met with resistance and attitude instead of any willingness to resolve the concern. He then insults me saying "your hair is thinning everywhere". At no point did I raise my voice or act disrespectfully--I simply expected a reasonable, professional response. The interaction ended with me being waved off without any attempt to acknowledge the issue or offer any form of resolution. I'm not sure if it was because I'm Hispanic or if he's just a very upset human being. Other than that, the haircut still sucked, the lines weren't straight, you can still see the lines in my hair that he didn't fade out correctly, he also cut too much off the top.
