He finalized the bid after the walk through with our agreed upon repairs and paint choice. His pricing is very reasonable and includes repairs and prep work that others may charge more for. He was very easy to work with and went above and beyond what would be expected, he noticed we had not put out our recycle bin one morning and called to ask if we wanted it out, while painting behind the dryer he noticed it needed a newer vent hose and got and installed it, he noticed the motion detector battery was low charge and picked up a new one. His prep work is meticulous and he is very particular about his work, (particular is how he describes his standards). He cleaned up ceiling bumps and sloppy work left by previous painters. All this and he was 20% lower than other bids. We will definitely be asking Rick to paint for us in the future.

There was caulk along the border between the wall and the tile that had to be scraped off before it could be painted and look at how clean the line is now! Upon setting up a couple of times he was to come out with samples i never heard from him. When he did come out he was 2 hours late (did let me know, however). The day he was suppose to come and do the work, he texted at the scheduled time and was going to be an hour late. 45 minutes after that he texted saying he was not going to make it at all and had to reschedule. I should have picked up on the fact that he did not want to keep his scheduled day with me, (but I did not), when he commented the night before that if i wanted more time, he was flexible and could set a different day IF I WANTED. I guess that was his way of hoping i would postpone. At this point in time no follow up text/yelp message as to rescheduling. I would not have him come now at any rate as i was set quite behind on my time frame and my life schedule. Was very frustrating to have gotten everything ready, cleaned up, and prepared for the work to be done only to be a waste of my time and my day. If you hire this person, I wish you better luck than I did.

I've gotten several compliments about the exterior from friends and family because of the stellar paint job. The project manager was very responsive and attentive. When a couple of concerns came up, he addressed them quickly and ensured we were satisfied with it. The crew was professional, quick, and very skilled. We have a stucco house with wood trim, and I appreciated the expertise in the painting techniques used to paint those surfaces; it all turned out great. The office staff were also communicative throughout the whole process.

TLDR; Lead safe practices both underwhelming and unfollowed. Somewhere between unreliable and…read moreinexistent point of contact. Customer service mostly excuses and hand waving. After project stops returning calls. Actual painting pretty good, but if you have lead paint; call someone else. I hired Paris Painting to safely scrape and paint over lead paint surfaces. Their quote was competitive, but not the lowest. On the first morning a project manager shows up that isn't the originally assigned project manager, ok fine. We do initial walkthrough and verify what surfaces are lead. Signage was already placed. Temp manager then says original manager will take over from there and leaves no contact information. While prepping surfaces, the painter decides to scrape lead paint onto cloth drops cloths 4 feet wide with huge gap between house and cloth.(Photos attached). I call project manager who was supposed to be taking over and no answer. I call main office who say they'll get back to me. I get manager callback 20-30 mins later who eventually gets a hold of the first manager I saw who calls me back and then has me hand my phone to the painter so he can tell him not to continue scraping lead paint directly onto my property and cleanup the surfaces. While he does take a wet sponge to the sidewalk, there's still left over chips on ground and you can't cleanup garden soil, so I have to get that tested. Day 2 I call project manager who still doesn't answer the phone. I was told he had a family emergency, which I'm sorry for, but for thousands of dollars their staffing issues shouldn't be my headache. I follow-up with the "temp manager" again. Confirm we understand which surfaces are lead and to follow safe practices from here on out. For the rest of the project plastic drop cloths are put down, but chips are simply left on plastic for hours on a windy days. I found multiple chips in my neighbors yard and my property. This is just what I observed first hand, I wasn't there the whole time. Could, in fact, be worse. This is before I learned that the legal requirements for lead-based paint for painters are actually significantly lower than the EPA recommended guidelines. Specifically they dry scrape, they don't use a HEPA vacuum for cleanup and I'm not sure they tested surfaces afterwards. Also painter used zero ppe, but that's not my concern. Amanda promises me we will talk about this after the project. Except following the project they didn't return my calls. Not 1 star, because the actual painting was good.

i called craig with the best intent to install tile on my kitchen backsplash. it has been nothing…read morebut a clown-show since. i initially measured it myself to make sure i had my numbers write...it was 28 sq ft with shrinkage. he should have ordered no less than 24 sq ft without shrinkage. he initially told me it would be installed when it got in, next week. after 2+ weeks, i called craig to find out why it was not installed. he told me that he had to jump through all these extra hoops to order. i asked him why he didnt call me and tell me? he said he forgot. after another two weeks and me verifying that the tile was at the shop for over a week now, i realized that he was as big of a clown as it seemed. no only that, the clown only ordered 20 sq ft so now i have to hire a competent person to order the extra sq ft'age i need and wait for that to come in before they can competently install the tile. needless to say, i would not recommend doing business with them under any circumstances. likely i am going to have to sue to get the rest of my deposit back and
