I rented my first Shoreditch flat through this relatively small but efficient and knowledgeable real estate agency and would definitely use Peach again. The staff have generally either lived in the area or do so at present and are particularly knowledgeable about Shoreditch's Victorian built Boundary Estate where many local residents rent one and two bed properties. All in all a charming little real estate agency that goes some way to dispelling the myth that all real estate agents are cowboys.

The two men that work at Peach are so helpful and a complete breath of fresh air, after dealing with local agencies such as Foxtons up in Old Street. It is a small, local estate agent that knows the surrounding areas extremely well. I would thoroughly recommend using them, or at least speaking to them before renting a property in the area, as they gave us a fair bit of useful information.

The agency infringed my rights, treated me unfairly, ignored my statements and bullied me in a way that results in my financial losses of pro rata rental payment and full deposits no return and suffering avoidable aggravation, distress and inconvenience. The case had been forwarded to The Property Ombudsman. If you are a tenant, please be very careful and definitely avoided.

They have no care about their clients…read more In 6 years of renting all over the UK for employment reasons these are the worst estate agency I have ever come across. As a result of their total disregard for tenants, I experienced mental health issues which the consultant psychiatrist blamed them for. I have never met a bigger bunch of liars in my entire life. When I first arrived there were 15 items on the itinerary/inspection report that I found fault with. I was told these would be sorted but if I didn't sign acceptance I would not get the keys and was due to start a new job the next day. After 3 months of emails, phone calls and visits to their shop I was ill. I had to resign my job, be escorted back to my home town, receive psychiatric treatment and be signed off work by medical consultants as being unfit to work. This they disputed and refused to return my deposit of more than £1k.

The manager shows us how they monitor the sale of the house and provide us with updated written feedback. It was better that the service offered by other Estate Agents. The commission was 2% but they also were confident that they could obtain a higher price for our house. The staff worked really hard for us during the first week and we had 6 viewing. After receiving our first offer, which was good, the manager told us to decline it confident that he would get us more. Within the first week we received 5 offers and received 30,000 more that the price quoted from the highest other agency. We were delighted with this service. Unfortuately, it went downhill from there once they had a buyer, they did not do any chasing or contacted solicitors which I expected for my 2% fee. It was very difficult getting in touch with the lady that dealt with the liaising and in the end relied on our Sellers Estate Agent to keep us up to date with how the move was going. Overall, although I am grateful that they obtained a good price for us our move was most stressful that we did not have our Estate agent following up the move. I have since been advised that the ladies have left and they have had to restructure so I hope this has improved the after care service that they offered. I have given them 3* because of the work they did to obtain a good price.

Agent looks at me three more times then takes this guy into the flat. I have a mortgage and am ready to buy - I can only assume they discriminated against me as I am a young woman and probably never able to amass enough money to buy a house. Highly unprofessional.
