I ordered some hard to find Mec-Gar magazines off of their website. They arrived quickly however, although they were for the correct firearm, they were a different manufacturer. I sent an email to james@robertsontradingpost.com and got a quick response acknowledging the error and offering a refund or exchange without issue. I returned the magazines and they sent me the proper ones and a check for the return shipping of the incorrect magazines. Mistakes happen, however, I find that the well run businesses know how to handle them when they happen and it is clear that Robertson Trading Post and their management cares about their customers and their business. I will definitely do business with them again. read more

I bought a holster from them on Gunbroker.com. It was advertise as being a reproduction of a Browning Hi-Power pistol holster. It looked right and was well made but far too small for my Hi-Power and I have three of them. I tried stretching it with Neat's Foot Oil for leather but it had little effect. But what really upset me was that the seller complained to Gunbroker about me, saying "SELLERS BEWARE! Buyer does not know the model of his pistol, or is unaware of how to fit a leather holster. " What? The seller advertise it as being for a Hi_Power. I should have returned it. I certainly will not buy anything from them again. I bought one from World War Supply three weeks after buying the one from Rebertson Trading Post. This one is perfect, no stretching required. read more

Should be ZERO star rating for this business. They don't have the first understanding of the gun laws or regulations in this country - yet run a website called "guns America". They don't want your business- but you can call or email and find out how rude and ignorant they are of American gun law for yourself. I had the same experience as the reviewer Rick C. - wanted a firearm accessory and they quoted law about serialized firearms.... These guys sold me a trio of STAINLESS STEEL Meg-Car mags "modified from 380 acp to 32 acp. For health reasons it took a very long time for me to get to the range multiple times and finally realize the magazines are not "MODIFIED." They are STANDARD UNMODIFIED, PRODUCTION 380 ACP magazines, and they were BLUE, not STAINLESS. Yep. I waited a while to contact them, but they are now hiding behind time to justify their DUAL FRAUD. No customer service at all. I sent several emails, and received NO response. I then called, and the recorded message told me to leave emails! One star is far too good for these imbeciles. When they finally DID get back to me, they claimed that "bad apples" were the reason they didn't provide replies, but they also told me they were "short handed". Aren't we all? Then they stated that if I had "been in the business" I would know what I was talking about. Unfortunately for them, I AM in the business and would never give a lame excuse like that. If I could give this company zero stars, I would. They have no concept of gun laws so they make them up as they go along. They took my order, charged my credit card and then refused to ship magazines to a state where they were legal ( my second home) because my billing address for the credit card was in a different state. They then had the balls to try to charge me a cancellation fee when they were the ones who cancelled the order. Ended up disputing the charge with my credit card company and got my money refunded. read more

This is by far the worst gun company I've ever dealt with. I have over 30 guns. These people sold me a mossburg 500 with mold on and in the barrel. They had the audacity to tell me it was grease. It was so bad it pitted the barrel inside and out. I wouldn't even fire it. Luckily mossburg took over overnighted gun and said they've never seen such a thing and gun was not stored correctly. Also said pump was way loose. So a 10 second inspection would avoided this. Can you imagine a gun company not inspecting a firearm before it was sold. Unheard of. Their unfamiliarity with laws regulating sale of firearm components prevented a totally lawful attempt to make a purchase. No big deal to me, I just went to another online retailer for what I wanted. But just be aware, so you don't waste your time or get frustrated when trying to make a purchase. I would have probably given them 3 stars for lack of knowledge, but the individual on the phone was outright rude and nasty, so that's why I give them 1 star for their horrendous customer service. read more

I was looking for a particular pistol and found it at Robertson Trading Post. When I contacted Andy about what I wanted, he offered me one in even better shape at a great price. The only delay in shipping was on my part due to not selecting a good FFL for the transfer on my end. Once I found one that sent the information to Andy, he shipped the pistol right out.
