I guess they saw my whining here, sent a return label and refunded my bucks. I took a long time to recognize and fix the issue due to health reasons, and they reached out and made it right... that's unusually good service. That's refreshing. Good people, trying hard. I'd give them five stars if they had sold me what they advertised. read more

I have ordered some gun parts from RTP two times, and both times they were quick and accurate with my order. One of my orders had a broken firing pin (easy to miss), and I emailed them and they sent a replacement out to me immediately. They are responsive and great to deal with! read more

Surprised to see all these negative reviews. Ordered some NOS items from Robertson Trading Post at an incredibly low price. They shipped out everything quickly and were very reasonable on the shipping. read more

1 good order and now 2 bad orders requiring returns using their ebay store. Calling them direct to sort these orders out or get refunds.

I ordered some hard to find Mec-Gar magazines off of their website. They arrived quickly however, although they were for the correct firearm, they were a different manufacturer. I sent an email to james@robertsontradingpost.com and got a quick response acknowledging the error and offering a refund or exchange without issue. I returned the magazines and they sent me the proper ones and a check for the return shipping of the incorrect magazines. Mistakes happen, however, I find that the well run businesses know how to handle them when they happen and it is clear that Robertson Trading Post and their management cares about their customers and their business. I will definitely do business with them again. read more

I bought a holster from them on Gunbroker.com. It was advertise as being a reproduction of a Browning Hi-Power pistol holster. It looked right and was well made but far too small for my Hi-Power and I have three of them. I tried stretching it with Neat's Foot Oil for leather but it had little effect. But what really upset me was that the seller complained to Gunbroker about me, saying "SELLERS BEWARE! Buyer does not know the model of his pistol, or is unaware of how to fit a leather holster. " What? The seller advertise it as being for a Hi_Power. I should have returned it. I certainly will not buy anything from them again. I bought one from World War Supply three weeks after buying the one from Rebertson Trading Post. This one is perfect, no stretching required. read more

Should be ZERO star rating for this business. They don't have the first understanding of the gun laws or regulations in this country - yet run a website called "guns America". They don't want your business- but you can call or email and find out how rude and ignorant they are of American gun law for yourself. I had the same experience as the reviewer Rick C. - wanted a firearm accessory and they quoted law about serialized firearms.... I was happy to go to another online retailer and pay 3 times as much - just to not deal with these ... people. Based on other reviews here- looks like they are dishonest in addition to rude. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS GUN SHOP.. read more

useless store they will lie to you about prices then up the price $200 on the gun when you try to purchase it. wont return calls. defiently wouldn't do business with them. read more

Very poor customer service with regards to shipping and followup. James can't figure out if he's winding his butt or scratching his watch. read more

No customer service at all. I sent several emails, and received NO response. I then called, and the recorded message told me to leave emails! One star is far too good for these imbeciles. When they finally DID get back to me, they claimed that "bad apples" were the reason they didn't provide replies, but they also told me they were "short handed". Aren't we all? Then they stated that if I had "been in the business" I would know what I was talking about. Unfortunately for them, I AM in the business and would never give a lame excuse like that. CUSTOMER SERVICE is required when you're in business. These old, crusty fogeys just think they are entitled. They are the "millenials" of the old farts. Too bad. read more

If I could give this company zero stars, I would. They have no concept of gun laws so they make them up as they go along. They took my order, charged my credit card and then refused to ship magazines to a state where they were legal ( my second home) because my billing address for the credit card was in a different state. They then had the balls to try to charge me a cancellation fee when they were the ones who cancelled the order. Ended up disputing the charge with my credit card company and got my money refunded. read more

This is by far the worst gun company I've ever dealt with. I have over 30 guns. These people sold me a mossburg 500 with mold on and in the barrel. They had the audacity to tell me it was grease. It was so bad it pitted the barrel inside and out. I wouldn't even fire it. Luckily mossburg took over overnighted gun and said they've never seen such a thing and gun was not stored correctly. Also said pump was way loose. So a 10 second inspection would avoided this. Can you imagine a gun company not inspecting a firearm before it was sold. Unheard of. I'll let you make the decision to buy from these idiots. If I could give the 0 stars I would!! Sept 11 2017. read more

Horrible company. Charged me for priority mail shipping on 2 Glock mags. Instead they decided to send them 1st class. When I messaged them they refused to message back and screwed me over by $7. Avoid this company. read more

One of the best online sales site I have ever experienced. Have bought several firearms and accessories thru them and if I have a hiccup, shoot an e-mail or phone call and waalaa, problem fixed. You can't go wrong with these guys. I guarantee it. read more

Their unfamiliarity with laws regulating sale of firearm components prevented a totally lawful attempt to make a purchase. No big deal to me, I just went to another online retailer for what I wanted. But just be aware, so you don't waste your time or get frustrated when trying to make a purchase. I would have probably given them 3 stars for lack of knowledge, but the individual on the phone was outright rude and nasty, so that's why I give them 1 star for their horrendous customer service. read more

I was looking for a particular pistol and found it at Robertson Trading Post. When I contacted Andy about what I wanted, he offered me one in even better shape at a great price. The only delay in shipping was on my part due to not selecting a good FFL for the transfer on my end. Once I found one that sent the information to Andy, he shipped the pistol right out. He kept me informed at each stage of the transfer. Thanks again, Andy, for your patience. I would purchase from you again. read more
