It was a Friday afternoon and this center had the only optometrist available in town to perform the procedure. I called several times starting at 3:15 PM and the man answering the phone assured me he would call back "in a few minutes" after speaking with the optometrist. Even though they are open until 5 PM calls placed after 4 PM went to voicemail. Since the business was open until 5 PM I drove there arriving at 4:40 PM. The only one there by then was the optometrist who advised me that she was too tired to perform the procedure and told me to drive to Idaho Falls even though it was snowing at the time. The failure to call back as promised and the optometrist's uncaring attitude should make other future patients reluctant to seek their care.

He took the time to answer all my many questions with as much information as I could process, unlike my first eye exam which felt more like a fast food drive through. I was mostly there on the request of my primary care physician because of high blood pressure. I am lucky to have good eyes, but the blood vessels in your eyes can tell about cardio health, and I was happy to find out mine looked good. She stated that she was supposed to clock out by 4:00p. Then, in perhaps an attempt to be forgiven for her profound rudeness, she claimed she had a family emergency. Unknowingly, her coworker joined us and quickly said that the original woman had an appointment that she had to go to. Interesting to observe them try to cover their "story". As the original woman begrudgingly passed us off to her coworker, she strangely made a big deal about my husband wanting to look into sunglasses as well. She stated, "Unfortunately, he wants sunglasses as well." Seriously? I suppose pleasant customer service is not an option at Eagle Vision of Jackson, Wyoming, and questionable honesty is tossed about without regard. Be aware that you might have to stand up for your right to be treated with respect.

It took them two weeks to receive my contacts for me whereas I could get them from 1800 Contacts with overnight delivery. Went to pick up long-awaited (2 weeks) contacts on New Year's Eve day after hearing on their voicemail that they were open. Arrived to find that they were closed. Worse part? Nothing done on their end to make amends. A simple "Oh, I'm so sorry here, let me give you 10% off for your troubles" would have gone a long way. Instead, I asked for a refund for the contacts and ordered them online. They will be here in 24 hours. You lost a customer over a Customer Service 101 fail.

A fluffy white dog ran out and looked like it wanted to say hi or play with my dog! When my pup got scared the dog started attacking him and caused cuts on his paw and back. Another woman came out to try and grab her dog, and then made the excuse that he was a rescue...... okay? My dog is a rescue too but he doesn't attack other animals. The Latina women who opened the door for me stayed outside to make sure my dog was ok, but I couldn't tell. We cleaned our dog up and I went inside to wash my hands, where the girls at the front were all babying the dog saying "it's okay, it's okay" as if he did nothing wrong. She asked "oh did you get cut?" To which I replied.... "no? My dog ?" She showed me the bathroom and then talked about how her dogs a rescue and it's just basically the breed that "makes it aggressive." It's really sad to hear that, because that's just not true. it's called training and conditioning. Your dog being abused really doesn't change that fact that your dog attacked another and that's not ok! On my way out I was able to walk around and check out the plants which are great, looks like you have lots of varieties and this is probably a great plant store to shop at! I wouldn't know. You should not be bringing an aggressive dog to free roam your place of work. Or you should have a sign that says "NO DOGS" so that no other dog gets hurt. My dog is a rescue who was abused just like this dog, and we were working on building confidence in new places....now he won't even look/get excited at other dogs. Floral Art's space was something in itself I'd want to spend lots and lots of time in. It's whimsical (but not frou frou) feel with quality work and design is inspiring. Add a playlist with Coldplay and John Mayer to the mix and there's no telling what someone could be capable of within those walls... I was able to go through all of the coolers (and back freezer!) to pick out all of my own flowers I wanted to buy in order to make a personal arrangement for a friend. Karen helped me all along the way and even let me use her work space and tools! Beautiful people. Magnificent flowers.

Unfortunately none of them ever got back to me so I went with Ace Hardware. I was able to get a key made quickly and efficiently. The people at the register were friendly. Ace had a variety of different styles of keys but I went with a colored one so it would be easily identifiable against the others I have. It only cost me about five dollars for a single key.

The two women working never once smiled or asked how we were doing. They acted like we were an inconvenience to them. Perhaps because we were on the river all day, and dressed in jeans and shorts, they didn't feel like we were taking their shop serious. Who knows.
