The surroundings don't hurt a bit, of course. A beautiful old cottage which is a stunning venue, overlooking a magnificent kitchen garden.
Five of us rocked up here for lunch on a mini tour of the Hunter, and we were very pleasantly surprised with the fantastic food, and beautiful presentation. Especially the presentation, artfully done with local produce and flora, perfectly rounding out a staggeringly good wine and outstanding lunch.
Around the table we had oysters, lobster, quail, tuna, followed by beef, lamb, pork and fish.

The house made bread was incredible...
