I planned a destination wedding in Florida for this past December 2015. I first found Gulf Beach…read moreWeddings, whom I chose to set up our ceremony on the beach, and through them I found Pedro (the owner of P.L. Carrillo Photography. I was immediately impressed with the quality of his work and use of natural light. In his work, I could see how he captured the emotion of the couple in his pictures. I chose him to capture the precious moments of our day and he did not disappoint! The quality of his images and way that he is open to all shot suggestions was fantastic. Plus, he had a very quick turn around time in sending us our images, via Dropbox. For someone that enjoys creating her own gifts, canvases and photobooks...digital downloads was the way to go. Thank you Pedro! We would use you over and over and over again if we lived in Florida!

I found PL Carrillo Photography through Gulf Beach Weddings, who we did our destination wedding beach ceremony through. Since it was a package, we were to choose a photographer from their list. After looking up all of the different photographer's websites, we decided PL Carrillo's was the style that fit us best. We were ecstatic to learn that he was available! And it truly was a blessing as he was the most professional and organized person. I sent him a list of different pictures I wanted on the big day(because they say you will forget in the moment), and he brought the list with him and was sure to get almost all of them! He absolutely hustled and worked so hard on a very hot, humid day! From making sure to get the most perfect pictures on the beach, to laying down in the middle of the street to get a cool picture of us in downtown Siesta Key, to all of the pictures of our decor and venue for the reception.. I was beyond impressed. He has a great passion for photography and it truly shows with his incredible work. The pictures came out absolutely gorgeous! He got them all back to us in only 23 days, and he even got two to us just 3 days after our wedding because he knew we were having a reception back home in Ohio & wanted to put two on display. I cannot express my gratitude enough! Pedro's hard work and dedication is the reason my husband and I will have the memories of our wedding day captured in beautiful pictures for the rest of our lives. If you are looking for a reliable, talented photographer, you can't go wrong with Pedro!

Sylvain is very professional and his photography is beautiful. By and large, we were very happy…read morethat we chose to hire him for our wedding day. He made everything easy on the day of the wedding, and guests commented that they hardly knew he was there (exactly what you want). The pictures he took were beautiful, with the exception of few of the bride pre-wedding that looked a little washed out, although I'm not sure if that was his fault. The one concern we had in working with Sylvain was that he moved after we had hired him and did not tell us. This made us very anxious when we found out from the venue. However, our fears were for naught and everything ran smoothly on the wedding day. The only impact his move had on us was that we weren't able to do engagement photos until the week of the wedding. Overall, hiring is Sylvain to do photography for your wedding is well worth it. However, I would not chose to use his design team for an album or prints. Get the CD and do it yourself. We went back and forth with the design team for literally months on the album, and in each iteration found mistakes they made. My parents were so upset with the initial draft design of their album that they called and asked me just to cancel it (this was our wedding gift to them). Sylvain worked with us to correct the mistakes, but I strongly feel that Sylvain should select a different design team. We've now received both albums, and I feel that the picture quality of the album doesn't do Sylvain's photography justice. Some of the photos are blurry and detail is missing. We got several prints done from another vendor and the quality was much better (so it's not the photos, it's the printer).
