I "yelp" searched the Jim Thorpe 18229 area because I wanted to purchase real estate in the town. I called three numbers and the only one who answered the phone was Tony's Firm. As a sign note, one Attorney did call back later that day...And they recommended Tony's firm. So, I called his office and asked for a title search and closing services and they switched me to Tony immediately. He is a very easy guy to work with, great personality, he knows the business inside out. He is the main guy in this area and has the ins and out dialed in tight. I also found his staff is very attentive and very polite. Great people. I saw the bad review he had, and while that is very unfortunate and unacceptable behaviour, in their defence, they did think they had you on hold... just sayin' Overall a great experience no problems at all, nothing but a pleasure. My fiance and I were looking for a real estate attorney as we are in the process of purchasing land in Jim Thorpe, PA. We called this firm today and we had them on speaker phone. My fiance asked, "Can your firm help us with a real estate purchase as we don't know how the process fully works." The secretary asked his name & put us on "hold". Little did she know that she didn't actually put us on hold. She continued to speak to someone in the background. She quoted, "I have no idea what this guys name is, he sounds 14, he doesn't know anything about what he's doing. Should I even take his information?" By the way, my fiance is 30. This is by far the most embarrassing and unprofessional encounter I've ever experienced. Honestly, I wouldn't go with a firm that doesn't know how their own phones work. Maybe they should cough up a little more money to hire a real receptionist instead of some bimbo. I'll update this review with the professional law firm we decide to go with to save others time. read more
