The $27 kids hand building class scratches every itch that painting pottery alone never reaches. They offer a max of 4 kids per class so each group gets a lot of attention and support from the teacher in making their own little bowl. I'm so glad that there is a clay studio near the beaches!

I specifically was entering a show that was put on by the Art Center Co-op and from walking in I was greeted with warm smiles. This was a first for me, and I was very nervous, the volunteers running the gallery were extremely helpful! Ed- he is the president, I met him when I went to pick up the my pieces that didn't make the show and he complimented my work. The opening of the show was super fun! All of the staff are so professional and did a wonderful job of putting on a fantastic opening night. Seriously thinking of doing a membership here!

Very small but quaint art display room that show cases the local artists. All the artwork was beautiful but there were a few that caught my eye. Loved the animal window one with the cat and horse and rooster peeping through the window. The use of color was neat as well as the idea. The other one I really was drawn into was the butterfly three piece frames with gold background. Even though this was simple its simplicity caught my eye. Also, I love butterflies. Overall if you happen to go through fscj or happen to catch a show near the theatre I suggest walking through the art room. Definitely cool to see

I happened to be over in Ponte Vedra the other day and swung into PV Arts & Crafts as I heard that…read morethey had a section of needlepoint designs and supplies. I've slowly come back into doing cross-stitch and it's been tough to find a local store with supplies, designs, and hand-dyed floss and fabric. There were a few kits at Reddi-Arts prior to their closure, but I haven't found much that isn't, at least, an hour drive away now. While the cross-stitch/embroidery section was a bit smaller than I hoped, I was excited to find some great Satsuma Street designs, some hand-dyed thread, and some different fabrics that were available. I definitely could come by with a floss color key and gather all I need for any project. I didn't get a chance to fully explore the books or even get into where the majority of PV Arts & Crafts fabric is held, but I'm looking forward to my next trip to delve in even more. As I was on my lunch, I didn't have too much time to poke around further into the store, so I'll have to make a return trip when I don't have a time restriction. This is a spot that is much bigger on the inside than it appears from the outside, and everyone would benefit for having some time to explore.

After a quick rundown of the rules and music setup, we were free to have fun -- and we definitely did! The kids had the best time splattering paint everywhere. Each of us got about five containers of paint, a canvas to take home, and a full hour to get creative. There were even mini water guns available to use and water balloons for purchase, which made it even more fun. Overall, this was an awesome experience -- affordable, unique, and perfect for both kids and adults. Highly recommend if you're looking for something fun and memorable to do!
