I wanted to write a review after a great experience with Ronald Metting at Robert Half Finance & Accounting,and his assistance with finding me a great career opportunity! Ronald called me immediately after being contact by his colleague Jennifer, located in their Fort Wayne, IN office. I had contacted Jennifer, as she had placed me in the Fort Wayne, IN years ago. She immediately put me in contact with Ronald, located in their Woodlands, TX office. As we were moving from Indiana to Texas. It was a perfect match, Ronald and I immediately got started reviewing my skills and jobs requirements even before we moved to Texas. I must comment on Robert Half's professionalism, from the first meeting via a skype interview, to calling and checking in on our move, to the final stages of us getting settled here in Texas. Ronald was so attentive through the whole process and never once did I feel he was not there searching for the perfect career for me! The follow up calls and the emails, it was over the top! Thank you, Ronald! I can not say it enough, Ronald was a delight to work with! Professional, personable, charismatic and he took the time to genuinely invest in my future career. We had great talks, texts, emails and a lot of laughs along the way. I would be honored to call Ronald a good friend! Finding a good job is not an easy task, especially when be new to an area or from out of state. It's stressful, time consuming and could be frustrating... I have worked for the same company/industry for 18 years. I left my employer when the company was bought and took a year off from work. Needless to say, things have changed in the way that you apply for jobs and search for jobs. Gone are the days of cold calling, mailing resumes', word of mouth, etc. I researched job openings and found a position that interested me posted on Indeed with instructions to email my resume' to Dana Schneider with Robert Half Finance and Accounting. I was contacted by Dana within a couple of days and had a Skype interview with her the following day. As soon as I connected with Dana I felt comfortable with her and trusted that she was going to work to find me a job. Within two days Dana had an interview set up for me; close to home. She emailed details about the company I was interviewing with, the benefits, the interviewers name and contact information along with tips for a successful interview. Dana asked that I call her when I completed the interview and asked my thoughts and my opinions. She wanted to know how I felt about the company and overall if I would like to work for this company. I felt like she was looking out for my best interests as well as finding a placement for the company she was recruiting for. Within 30 minutes I received a call from Dana, I was offered the position. Because I have not had to look for a job in 18 years and have been removed from the new way of doing things I could not have asked for a better recruiter to work with. In my search for employment I don't like to deal with employment agencies. My experience with them has not been great and I have a low opinion of them as a whole. Well I have hope now that I have experienced landing employment through Robert Half working with Kelly Jackson VP Division Director. Kelly was very professional yet, warm and human. My biggest issue with recruiters is that they tell you about a position, send your resume to the client and never give you an update if the client chooses another candidate. This was not the case with Kelly Jackson. She always gave me an update on the situation and I really appreciate that. She gave me great suggestions before and after my interviews. I have gone through MANY temporary agencies and headhunters over the course of 7 years. I was referred to Accountemps by a friend, and it was the best decision/experience I've made in a long time.
