You are suppose to wait until your name is called, swear in and the officer states his case against you! I waited a little while watching other cases until my name was called, I swore in and the officer did not show up so the judge said my case was dismissed and that it never happened!!!! Yes!! Feeling lucky! ;) Judge Hamilton was kind, honest and upfront. The court definitely has the COVID situation taken care of really well!!!

We arrived in the room right at 8:30am. The prisoners are let in and seated in front and to the left. Judge didn't come out until 9:30. There isn't a place to check in and no direction on what to do. After 3 hours of waiting we had to wait until the break to talk to the attorney assigned to the case. He then said we didn't need to be there based on our case. Pretty annoyed. Parking was $6 and my time that I'll never get back.

It's with family services, at the end. Wait in line until you reach clerk to obtain. They only have 1 person working that area. Got to a clerk and notified to go to floor #4. The worker was kind. Go to the floor and that worker was great! Very kind. Gave a bunch of paperwork to fill out to submit and helped to make sure everything was done correctly. Said it would be turned into the judge and we should hear back within -48 hours. If it's granted, it's pretty cool, a sheriff will serve him. Great court clerk and it's definitely a process, but hopefully, it'll be worth it! Worth the work to get it completed! Highly recommended!

I submitted divorce packet to begin the divorce process. I was sent a request to pay the filing…read morefee. I have paid the filing fee as per the instructions via money order for the amount requested. I have not heard from the court, and when I have called asking about the status no one seems to know what I am talking about and no one seems to know what happened to the money order. The amount paid was 435.00. The money order was made out to Fresno County Superior Court, and was placed in a white envelope with the name of the case on it. This was in August 13th, 2021. I stamped the stub on the money order that shows it was submitted on that day. I need to know what happened to my paperwork and the money order. The case name is: Barban and Madero.

The clerks are never here on time. Right now it is 8:15 am and no one has opened yet. People are waiting in line. Why does this happen every morning? The 2nd line has 2 clerks to help with the Calendar filings etc. but line one which is the most busiest is always the least productive. Whom ever the supervisor is of this Family Law court filings needs to rethink their way of leading this department. I am currently standing in line as I write this review and it is 8:20 now on 11/6/18 and no clerk has opened yet. I would give 1 star, but the clerks are nice who work the windows.

I think it was a form of profiling and is sad stuff in modern America. This courthouse is filled with bias and not a spot that I recommend if you are interested in justice. America is a great country but it is places like this place that gives the country a bad name. I had unpleasant experiences with several individuals at this location. The worst experience though was with Kimberly Gaab. If you have a choice, avoid her. If she is ever up for election, vote no next to her name. If there is a way to vote her out of her seat, even better! Do what makes the country stronger and better and not weaker and more pathetic. Man, what wonderful service I received here. Juliet just about held my hand walking me through all the double checking I wanted to do. Patient, kind and professional, she really brought the human touch (without actually touching a human) to this department. Mary Ann, likewise was awesome and helpful. And it's a good thing, as I had them laughing at my corny jokes, Rob, their supervisor, came up to the front counter as well. As it would turn out, Rob and I go the same church, Riverpark Bible Church. Go Riverpark! Anyway, as a result of this trip and the fantastic service, I learned that I need to take advantage of a 'Homeowner's Exemption Form' that essentially with reduce the value from which the property is taxed about 7K. Hot Dog! Thank you good Lord for the good people you plugged me in with today who further helped me to ensure my interests! I might have missed it were it not for their awesome service! Wow! Those girls got it going on there. Super quick in and out to get a certified copy of a divorce…read moredecree. This is where you go for archived records from Fresno County. Across the street from the post office and the old Fresno Bee. Fill out the little paper on the table and give it to a clerk at the window. It only took about five minutes and I had what I needed, a certified copy of divorce papers. Friendly clerks.
