Called them for a auto insurance rate quote during normal business hours.m and got a message telling me to leave a voicemail. I figured this must be some sort of mistake, they were swamped with calls or receptionist was on a break. Call back an hour later, I get voicemail again. I think to myself that this is a terrible way for a business that makes a commission off of sales to get leads. But, OK, I leave a message stating I would like a quote. 3 hours later, no call back. Obviously this office doesn't want my business and provides horrible service (whenever I walk past, everyone in the office looks disinterested). read more

I finally got around to changing my insurance agent to an office more accessible to me. Mr. Donahue and his staff here are great. everything was handled efficiently and clearly explained. this was great, because my experience with State Farm itself was turning sour as the main call center folks had been "updating" my information incorrectly for the better part of a few months. I'm glad that the staff here treated me with respect and a calm attitude, unlike whoever staffs the State Farm phone centers out in Flyover Country. what's clutch: they're open until 6 on most weeknights, with after-hours appointments if necessary AND they're open on Saturdays. fantastic! as I often point out, it's a major annoyance when services/businesses don't respect the working man/woman by not having any late or weekend hours, as if time off grew on trees. while I only came for car and personal items insurance, the agents also provided me with information on other policies, but were not pushy at all. it's always great to find a local business which cares about its customers! read more

Last week, I made numerous attempts to obtain information regarding my automobile and renters insurance policies. Agent representatives were not qualified (their words) to discuss anything about my policy. They said only a registered representative could answer the questions. The said a qualified person will call me back. After 4 attempts I gave up. My last gasp effort was to leave a voice message for Robert Donahue. Surprisingly, he never called me back.
