Where do I even begin? Life presents a unique set of challenges when it comes to fertility…read morejourneys, and only those who have walked this path can truly comprehend the difference. I had the incredible privilege of working with Dr. B, and it's time we revisited our journey. As I sat in the waiting room for an NST check, tears welled up in my eyes. It's hard to believe that we're about to welcome our baby soon. Our journey began here in 2023, after undergoing trigger shots and two unsuccessful IUI cycles. We ultimately made the difficult decision to pursue IVF. Despite the positive test results indicating that we were healthy on both ends, we held off on going all in with IVF. Even on my graduation day, Dr. B expressed that our case was unknown, as we would probably conceived naturally eventually . However, due to our age and the fact that we had been trying for almost three years after our wedding in 2021, we found this location that we had been praying for after years of prayer. On the day of the egg retrieval surgery, I was filled with panic and fear. But then, Dr. B walked into the surgery room and cracked a joke. "Ana, did you leave happy hour early last night?" he asked. Immediately, I couldn't help but smile and take a deep breath. He is the most incredible, amazing person we have ever met. He exudes an infectious positive energy and always made us feel completely confident that our miracle would happen. When he first read through our results, he exclaimed to my husband, "You're a Navy SEAL!" and to me, "Ana, you're a farm full of eggs!" It was the way he made us feel like everything would be okay. God bless you, Dr. B. You are truly one of a kind! When I think of exceptional and top-notch doctors, Dr. B is undoubtedly the MVP of fertility doctors. He is retiring on June 1st, 2026. Dr. B, I hope you find this post and understand the profound impact your career has had on many of us. I can never repay you for the incredible support and miracle that I am eagerly anticipating meeting here soon. Enjoy your retirement with the beautiful life mission accomplished that you were always destined for. You've made life-changing experiences for many, and we wish you continued health, happiness, and prosperity. God bless you forever. The Navas

Horrible, Unprofessional, and Unethical Financial Department - Avoid FSAC at All Costs!…read moreI am writing this detailed review to strongly warn anyone considering FSAC. Their Financial Department is hands down the most unprofessional, unresponsive, and heartless team I have ever encountered in my life. Going through IVF is already an extremely physically and emotionally taxing journey. The sheer incompetence and cruel practices of FSAC's financial team turned my experience into an absolute nightmare. 1. Last-Minute Threat Before Surgery Caused Severe Trauma & Complications During my first IVF cycle, their financial department waited until the late afternoon right before my retrieval day to demand that I pay $10,000 by 7:30 AM the next morning. They explicitly threatened to cancel my retrieval surgery if the payment wasn't made immediately. The eve of a retrieval is the most critical time for a patient to stay calm and rested. Their last-minute coercion caused me severe panic and unbearable stress. As a direct result, my retrieval was a disaster--only ONE mature egg was retrieved. Even worse, I suffered severe post-operative complications: I was completely unable to lie down or walk for 5 consecutive days, and for 3 straight days, I was forced to sit upright without sleeping a single minute due to excruciating pain. The massive pressure they inflicted at the most critical moment caused me irreversible physical suffering and trauma. 2. Dishonest Financial Practices & Changing Prices Throughout the entire cycle, the financial department was constantly backtracking on pricing. Quotes and figures given to me initially were suddenly altered when it came time to pay, without any reasonable explanation. This complete lack of transparency and bait-and-switch behavior exploits vulnerable patients who have no choice but to proceed. 3. Total Lack of Integrity: Canceled Appointment Without Any Notice As I was preparing for my second cycle, time was of the essence. I booked a mandatory Financial Appointment for 2:00 PM today, explicitly letting them know how critical this call was. I took time off work specifically to wait for their call. At 2:20 PM, I proactively called the front desk. The receptionist assured me that "the financial team is busy right now, but they will definitely call you back after they finish." I waited until almost 4:00 PM with no response. When I called the front desk again, I was casually informed that everyone in the financial department had already left for the day, and they had canceled my appointment without telling me! I wasted my leave and waited for over two hours for nothing. 4. Completely Unreachable & Non-Existent Customer Service Trying to reach anyone in FSAC's financial department is practically impossible. At one point, I called and left messages with the front desk every single day for 3 consecutive weeks, but I never received a SINGLE call back or reply. They display a shocking level of indifference and coldness toward patients' urgent needs. Summary: A medical facility should be built on care and empathy, but FSAC's Financial Department exhibits nothing but arrogance, unreliability, and extreme negligence. They do not care about your health, your emotional state, or the success of your IVF cycle--they only care about extracting money, even if it means holding your surgery hostage at the 11th hour. If you are considering FSAC, please think twice. Do not let this abysmal financial team ruin your health, your hard-earned money, and your chances of having a baby!

(Our first experience with a fertility specialist, Dr. Mousa Shamonki with Fertility and Surgical Associates of California, was awful. He went right into discussions of IVF without any fertility testing. He was also awful about getting back to me as well). Dr. Singh also went into a discussion about IVF considering our ages (both 42), mentioning this was the most aggressive option considering our limited time to conceive. Yet, she also LISTENED and addressed all of our concerns, one by one. So first, she suggested that we move forward with our additional remaining fertility tests and genetic disease testing (for myself and husband) to rule out causes of infertility & potential issues. All testing was NORMAL, and egg quality and quantity + sperm was GOOD or EXCELLENT for 42 years of age! After seeing her for about 3 months, we conceived NATURALLY, just before we were about to start our 1st of 3 IUI procedures! (We had just both turned 43 1-2 months prior!!!) Literally, we were going to start our 1st IUI procedure the day AFTER we found out we were pregnant. We then had a 2 blood draws and weekly/bi-weekly ultrasounds up through week 7 to ensure all was well. And it was - we graduated to our OB/GYN in week 8. I'm now in week 22 of my pregnancy - we're due in Aug 2019! Dr. Singh's demeanor is straight and to the point - greatly appreciated. Some may not feel she is "warm" however, we appreciated her approach and encouragement throughout the process. Miracles do happen - with the help and confidence to know your "parts" are all in working order from Dr. Singh and her staff. P.S. A special shout out to Margaret in the office. She's very patient, sweet, and helpful. Great staff, and experience. Highly recommended!

You could not find a kinder, more compassionate, more responsive doctor than Dr. Buyalos (or "Dr…read more B." as we called him.) I knew when I first consulted him that I had to move on to DE IVF and that I wanted to transfer only ONE embryo when the time came (due to a fibroid which I'd been told would cause crowding and due to seeing how high risk twin pregnancies are from friends who'd had twins.). Unlike another doctor at the same clinic (who's no longer there) who told me, "Oh no. We couldn't transfer only one embryo because that might lower our success rates!" Dr. B. told me he agreed with my decision and would abide by it. Then during an attempt at doing DE IVF he screened our donor in person and called me with his impressions before and during her cycle, making himself accessible in ways no other RE had ever done. He also had a donor cycle coordinator at that time named Arlene who was AMAZING. (I'm sad that she no longer works at his clinic but hope the new coordinator is as great as Arlene was.) Dr. B. is that RARITY in fertility medicine---a kind, compassionate, HONEST, hardworking and ACCESSIBLE doctor! Without him, our daughter would not exist and she is the light of our lives. Beyond his clinical skill, Dr. Buyalos showed genuine compassion and integrity. He supported me with patience and honesty, which helped rebuild my confidence despite my age. Although I did not achieve the outcome I had hoped for, his guidance--especially our conversations about considering donor eggs--has stayed with me. Looking back, I recognize there were times I struggled to accept that reality, but he remained supportive throughout the entire process. I'm grateful for his care and professionalism, and for the way he treated me as a person, not just a patient.

Here's a little…read morestory about my journey to finding and staying with Dr. Williams: 6 weeks pregnant with our first, we search online for doctors using key words like "natural", "gentle" and understanding". He pulled up as one of the first and after reading the reviews, we knew we found our OB. I must be honest, a part of me tends to pick professionals apart to see where their weakness are. I don't know why I do this, I think because I'm a power-tripper. Every time I thought I'd found a weakness, I quickly realized it was quite the opposite. For example, sometimes I would wait 30 minutes for an appt. I thought maybe it was because they're unorganized, but really it's because that office will do whatever they can to accommodate you when you need them and for that... I'm willing to wait 30 minutes every now and then. (He's generally really on-time) I've called OBs previously to get in when I needed someone and they've given me their first appt A MONTH + later!!!! He was 100% respectful of my desires to deliver naturally and supplying me with all of the information and support I needed for that experience. Well, I didn't make it naturally and Dr. Williams was right there to make me feel confident I tried my hardest and made the right decision for myself. He was on call nearly every moment I needed him, pre, mid and post-birth. Fast forward to now... when I knew he was my #1 OB and I had zero interest in ever going anywhere, I still occasionally felt the need to find weakness. Like when he'd offer more appts than my insurance would cover (money hungry?)... NO. Never with him. Because he's willing to do whatever it takes for me to feel comfortable after my miscarriage to know this current pregnancy is going well. He has pulled through on so many occasions that I have let my guard down completely, and damn does that feel good. He's never once failed me, he is 110% the most gentle, considerate, accommodating and supportive doctor I could ever dream of. When going through pregnancies and a miscarriage and ALL the lovely things that come along with it, you'd be lucky to have this man and his staff on your team. It's easy to find fault in the daily operations of any business bc no one is perfect all the time. This man and his staff are as close as you will ever get. And them not accepting certain insurances is no reason to ding points. They're professionals for a living, not for charity, and we will never fully understand why certain offices do or do not accept certain insurances unless we are within that network professionally.
