De Wan is one of the very few left with a proper cachet, in the most desirable shopping area of the centre of Turin. Location aside this is the ultimate gift shop, with an outstanding selection of high quality gifts, from custom jewellery, watches, scarves to pictures and more. I make a point of buying something from this shop every time I visit Turin and I have never been disappointed. Their service is excellent and the assistants go out of the way to please and spend time with you. This has the inevitable result that you end up buy more than you had bargained for, but hey, it's good stuff (and not even outrageously expensive for what it is) and a guaranteed hit when you get back to the UK. Anyway, we should support shops like these where quality, individual service and old fashioned values are still high on their agenda, so give it a try when you are in Turin.
