I'm not sure if this is considered a bar or a club, but it was definitely big. I came here on a Friday night and it was one of the last stops but it was still pretty packed while we were there. They played the same type of music as you would hear in the US except for once in a while, they would drop some Spanish songs. The first floor is basically a bar with TVs to watch while sipping on your drink. Then you move down a level where there's more room for people to dance and hang out. Finally, there is a "basement" floor where the main DJ was playing his music and there's a large amount of space for people to dance. It was cool because they had another bar in the basement level where you can buy drinks from, so you wouldn't need to make the whole trip back up to get a drink.
The reason for 3 stars is the atmosphere and the crowd. It could have just been that night that we went, but it seemed very divey in my opinion. It seemed like locals would gather up and meet at this bar, and everyone would kind of know each other already. Another thing I wanted to mention was that not a lot of people were dancing on the dance floor, and instead were just standing around. My co worker was one of the few that was getting his groove on, but people would not bite and some were even staring at him like he was crazy. We eventually left because there's no point in being in a dance club if nobody was was dancing.
I'm not sure if I would want to come back again. The venue was nice with the 3 "floors" but vibe I got from that night just turned me off. read more
