She said it'd cost $80 if they had to use their diagnostic car scanning tool however if I come as soon as possible before she left she'd tell the mechanic to do it for free. However, after the inspection she went back on her word and told me it was only a free inspection if they didn't have to use the scanner and so was going to charge me. At no point during the inspection did she and the mechanic give me the option to pay to get my vehicle scanned and I did not ask if it was going to cost me because Christine and I had agreed beforehand that the inspection would be completely free. Christine literally baited me into coming to her shop and did not make me leave until I paid her. They lied to me, ripped me off and made me feel so cheated on. Don't ever visit their shop to get your vehicle serviced, who knows how else they'd get you to pay more for their services. On top of all this, the mechanic barely speaks any english and it was really difficult for me to understand him.

He then brought it back to my house the next morning, all before business hours. I have to give credit to this effort and have since added 2 more stars to the original review. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I left my bike at the shop for servicing and I was advised that I will be contacted once the mechanic discussed what work was recommended. I was not contacted for over 2 weeks, during which I contacted the shop 3 times and was told each time that I will be contacted back by the mechanic who knew what was happening with the bike. When I was finally contacted 2 weeks later, I was told that work was completed and I was hit with a bill for over $1000. The shop had organised for both of my shocks to be serviced without me agreeing to the work. When I picked up the bike, I advised how disappointed I was and the staff apologetically advised that I will be contacted the next day to discuss what can be done about this. It has been over a week since then and I have not been contacted. I am extremely disappointed and I've lost confidence in 99 Bikes.
