Got a pretty deep gash on the freeway and started my Yelp search. Ater getting about 10 quotes, I settled on a veteran in the field (per his Yelp description) who works out of Santa Ana. Drove to his house and after looking at the damage, he did not voice any concerns. I wish he would have because he failed pretty bad (so bad that there was no charge). Left his house with the damage still very visible and immediately got back to work getting more Yelp opinions/quotes. One guy based out of Huntington Beach said he could reverse the damage but at a high cost. Another guy in based in Yorba Linda said he could attempt to fix it but was not totally comfortable due to possible paint cracking. The last guy based out of Cerritos declined the job (wouldn't even try based on the complexity). So after striking out, found the man Royce and I'm so glad I did. Sent him the pics on Friday and we scheduled the appointment at my home for Sunday morning. After assessing the previous damage from the first guy, he said he would tackle the job and was pretty confident he would get most of the creases out. He spent 4 hours on the job (2 more hours than anticipated) and managed to get 80-85% percent of the creases out. Note, I have a mild case of OCD and I was totally content with the outcome. I'm happy to accidentally meet him in our community cuz I had an issue with my care. Just talked a bit and in less than a week he is fixing my car. It was a deep "dent", I was not sure if it's recoverable at all or not but he agreed to fix it. At the result he was not able to fix it fully but the result is acceptable to me. Royce did an amazing job repairing the dent in my Lexus IS 250 after a hit and run left the rear passenger bumper dented (before picture). He responded within 10 mins of my request for a quote and conveniently came to my residence to do the repair. Other quotes were $350, $400 and one even at $675! All other quotes requested more information EXCEPT for Royce who gave me a flat fee ($75) no hidden charges. At the end of the job (after picture) he even fixed a few small door dings free of charge. I don't like he didn't keep his words that he will come. Three times he said he will come tomorrow but never did. No explanations. If you said you will come next day, can you at least tell me when you couldn't? Now I don't need your services any more. I described my cars need to remove light scratches. If you think the job is too small you should not response me that you can do it and guarantee your jobs and give me high hopes. Do you know other people need to arrange their cars for your coming? I even prepared your coming for two days(I need to switch my cars in different places just for you to come). Sound nice but not reliable.
