    Newest Hub!

If you're ready for an epic adventure, you should absolutely stop at Rivian's brand new hub in Venice. If you haven't heard of them, they are the latest EV maker to launch a 100% EV pickup called the R1T (Rivian.com). It's a spectacular vehicle with a considerable amount of design prowess integrated with fantastic tech. It really revolves around the driver and the attention to detail, functionality and off road ability is simply stunning. Every detail has been carefully thought through given how hot the competition is getting in EV. The staff there is very knowledgeable given that I spoke to the designer of the camp kitchen and the UX designer behind the driver's interface inside the cockpit. I'm super stoked to see this and the upcoming SUV called the R1S. No more range anxiety!! Kudos to the Rivian team for making their opening night exceptional. Your hard work and planning paid off.

We came by today to check out the Rivian. They only have trucks on display now for you to explore, free parking on the street. Knowledgeable staff and it's cool to sit inside the truck before you make your preorder. They have a gift shop, an organic garden, and a library. They sell coffee on site too. Saw lots of people just chilling in their yard and using some free wifi and socializing.

Cool place to check out Rivian Trucks. The space is very welcoming for both adults and children. Spent some time checking out the trucks while my son colored and did some crafts. Was also able to read various books to my son regarding recycling plastics and other topics.

Kinda hard to review this place since its just a partial showroom for now and you can't walk out with trucks yet. What this place is, is somewhere you can go look at, get in, get hands on with their new trucks and soon, their suv's. More importantly you get to talk with the employees and learn all about them in person instead of the internet and all its rumors lol. I have been interested in this company since I heard of them awhile back. To be able to go in and actually see and touch these trucks is essential. They are so much better in person than what you thought they were online. Although I initially went in hoping to see the R1S-the suv, the truck aka the R1t, is the only one there for now... and it was so nice, I'm now interested in the truck as well! Im not a truck guy, I've always found them more useful for work than being a everyday vehicle especially with gas prices, but now I can't stop thinking how nice it was! Anyways I digress because the star of this place is the employees that show you around and answer all your questions, of which I had a million! They show you all the things you can't grasp from looking at pictures online. They are great because its not a sales pitch, its more of show and tell, which is great. I no joke, spent over 2 hours there, asking questions, poking around, asking more questions, climbing in, taking pictures, and daydreaming about all the fun I could have with those trucks. If you're in the market for a new vehicle, electric vehicles, off roading, or just plain curious, you should check this place out.

Great place to visit to check out the new Rivians! Have been wanting to see these cars in person and absolutely hate it when I go to car showrooms and start getting bombarded with information from a salesperson, luckily the salespeople didn't bombard you with any information and simply just said "let us know if you have any questions". Had an amazing time checking out all the vehicles.

    Inside the R1T. Pretty sweet!

I've bought over 35 cars over the years, so I have a pretty clear sense of what basic customer service looks like. I waited more than two and a half hours to get an issue taken care of which ultimately was not dealt with by the dealership. My salesperson was pleasant and I have no complaint about him at all. He did the best he could under the circumstances, but management was another story. I think management just left him hanging and I felt bad as these issues were outside of his control and also knowledge. The used car sales manager Will is the one that I had talked to over the phone was essentially nowhere to be found when his involvement was needed on the day of sale, until the critical issue of a recall put the sale at in impasse in the final stages inside the finance managers office. I found the finance manager that I dealt with to be extremely aggressive and confrontational in front of my wife and my teenager daughter whom I was purchasing the car for. Additionally, after the sale, they emailed my the documents, this was over a week ago. I emailed him back that night advising him that i was unable to open the zip file. I asked him to send it to me again, that was 9 days ago. I still don't have the zip file with the sales contract etc. At one point, The Jeep was represented as being in quote "perfect condition", yet the rear tow hitch cover was missing. I was told it would be replaced, but that promise wasn't reflected anywhere, and I ended up ordering the part myself. More concerning, the vehicle had an open emissions campaign. I was initially led to believe required campaigns or recalls had been completed, only to find out afterwards that this one had not been done. After the sale and being extremely frustrated by my expreince I then reached out to LA Car Guy, the dealer group, to give management an opportunity to address these issues. Eight days passed. No call, no email, nothing. After being met with total silence from LA Car Guy, my own conclusion based on my direct experience is that management simply did not care enough to respond. I tried calling them as well without any success. The price of the car, the recall and the missing part is not why I am writing this complaint. The unprofessionalism of the management group, finance manager and complete lack of respect towards a customer is why I am attempting to get the word out. I am not expecting anything from them other than hopefully a change in culture as to how to deal with customers. Judging by the vast number of 1 star reviews, I am not alone in my feeling this way. Because of that, I filed a formal complaint with Lexus corporate, in hopes that it would finally get some traction. If you're considering this dealership, I strongly suggest reading through Yelp and Google reviews, especially the negative ones, so you can draw your own conclusions. For customers who have similar experiences and get nowhere, Lexus Customer Assistance is 1-800-255-3987 and in my discussions with them, they appear to care and take the complaint seriously. Perhaps escalating is what it takes for management to pay attention. Based on my experience and the lack of any follow-up, I would not recommend this dealership. But, if you end up working with them, get it in writing. My mistake was that I had recently purchased a Lexus from Woodland Hills Lexus dealership and they were extremly professional and respectfull. I just assumed that the Lexus corporate keeps their dealerships in check but I guess each dealerhsip has their own culture and practices.

The sales staff, including: Ron the GM, Mario the manager, Paul the finance director and Gabriel, my salesman, made the leasing process comfortable and stress-free, taking the time to answer my questions and remain patient when I conferred with ChatGPT and friends for sales advice and support. The service department has been equally outstanding. They are efficient and meticulously organized and treated me with kindness and respect. It's clear that Subaru values their customers and takes pride in providing excellent service. I love my Forester Wilderness, and I appreciate knowing that I have a dealership I can trust. Subaru Santa Monica has earned my loyalty through their consistent professionalism, integrity, and outstanding customer care. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a vehicle and a dealership that genuinely puts its customers first.

Then, by chance, we met Rose--a warm, knowledgeable, mature, and gracious sales consultant. I wasn't sure a Kia was the right choice, so I continued looking at other dealerships and speaking with other salespeople. But no one made us feel the same confidence, care, and trust that Rose did. As someone who had recently come to the United States to study and gain work experience, I was unfamiliar with car financing and the importance of building credit here. Rose patiently explained the process and helped me understand how I could buy a car while beginning to build my credit. My mother and I returned to Kia Santa Monica because we trusted Rose's advice. She took the time to understand my needs, explain my options, and help me choose the right car. She even came in on her day off to assist us. Thanks to her guidance, I was able to buy my first new car in America and take an important first step toward building my credit. My mother was delighted, and I was so excited. When I later returned to the dealership to look for her to get a car for my brother, I learned that Rose no longer worked there. I was genuinely disappointed. I couldn't imagine working with anyone else after the care and support she had given us. Rose made the experience feel personal. She looked after me with the kindness and guidance of an older sister, and my mother felt she had found not just a wonderful sales consultant, but a friend. Rose cared about helping me choose the right car and feel confident in my decision--not simply making a sale. Buying my first car in America was an unforgettable experience because of Rose. She is a true gem, and I will always be grateful for her help.

I first communicated with Elijah by email to obtain a quote for a Brand-New, fully functional EV9 Land (6-seater). He made an enticing offer on an EV9 GT-Line that included OEM all-weather cargo floor mats, which convinced my wife and me to come in expecting a quick and easy purchase. Upon arrival, however, the atmosphere immediately changed. My excitement quickly turned into anxiety. Elijah told us that the GT-Line might no longer be available because it was pending purchase. We had just experienced a classic bait-and-switch. He then said the only vehicle available was the Land model and allowed us to test-drive it. During the test drive, we noticed it was the 7-seater, not the 6-seater we had specifically negotiated for. Elijah and his team assured us that the 6-seater was still available but couldn't be test-driven because the 12-volt battery was dead. They reassured us that the battery could be replaced immediately by the service department and that the vehicle would be delivered directly to my home on Monday, just two days later and the first day the service department would be open. The deal sounded great, and the team seemed sincere and trustworthy. Based on those promises, we decided to purchase a brand-new vehicle with a dead battery. We met with Eric in finance, signed all the paperwork, and declined all additional warranties and protection packages. He also told us that copies of all the signed paperwork would be included with the vehicle upon delivery. Monday came and nothing. No one contacted us, and no one returned my calls despite my repeated requests. On Tuesday, Elijah told me the vehicle was being detailed and that Diego would deliver it before 6:00 p.m. That afternoon, Diego called to inform me that the 12-volt battery was still producing error messages and that the vehicle had to be returned to the service department. From that point until the vehicle was finally delivered on Thursday evening, I spent my time playing phone tag with the dealership. I constantly felt like an afterthought. Calls and text messages were often not returned until after 5:00 p.m., and updates were minimal. The repeated excuse was that everyone was too busy helping customers throughout the day. The next morning, while thoroughly inspecting the vehicle after delivery, I discovered that it was missing the plastic trim piece surrounding the front trunk (frunk) release lever. I immediately notified both Diego and Elijah so the missing part could be included with the delivery of the OEM all-weather cargo floor mats. When the floor mats finally arrived, the third-row mats didn't even fit because the service department had shipped the wrong set and they failed to include the missing plastic trim piece as discussed. Their solution was for me to drive back to the dealership. After days and weeks of frustration caused by poor communication, broken promises, and repeated mistakes from both the sales and service departments, the final straw came the following week. We were finally able to log into Kia Finance to make our first payment, only to discover that the loan amount included an additional $1,199. Unsure why, we thought to review the signed paperwork. It was then that we discovered none of the signed finance documents had been included with the vehicle upon delivery. Without disclosing it to us, the finance department had added a 4-in-1 Combo Warranty to our financing contract, despite the fact that we had clearly declined all additional warranties and protection plans during the signing process. Once again, do not do business with this dealership!!! My experience was filled with misleading sales tactics, poor communication, repeated service mistakes, and undisclosed finance charges. I will never return, nor will I recommend this dealership to anyone. If you value honesty, transparency, and good customer service, I strongly suggest taking your business elsewhere!
