I am somewhat in the middle when it comes to this shop. A few things I like in Wonen & Meer and…read moremost of the items I could care less. I stop by here only to check out their lampshades. They actually have a variety of different lamp shades and the price is really inexpensive. As for the quality of some of the lampshades, it may be another story, but don't mind me I am just really selective. However they have a few unique items in here. Normally I pass right on by the shop, because it never struck me as a store with a lot of quality, it seem more on the cheap side. However I was really surprise to see some really nice mirrors in here. I would say this shop is more ideal for accessories.

This my friends, is a place that holds a special place in my heart! That's cause when I checked in…read morehere for the 2nd time, up popped a Yelp notification that I (yes, moi!) had become the Queen of Amsterdam!!!!! :-) woot! But apart from that crowning, this place is fabulous! 3 floors of second hand goods that are neatly laid out and labeled and in excellent conditions! The first floor is amazing pieces of all kinds of furniture and also a huge selection of books that unfortunately, were mostly in Dutch. The second floor is garments and accessories, which run the gamut from shoes to belts to hats. Finally, the 3rd floor, which is my fave had kitchenware and decorating Knick-knacks included vases and just all sorts of electronics too! So before going to IKEA, come and check this place out and be prepared to be surprised by the affordability as well as just the cool selection of stuff you can recycle and reuse, rather than buying new! Ranging from resin encased insects to antique globes and educational models, Concrete Matter is not to be missed in a neighborhood dense with specialty shops.

We came here to check out a few chairs that Dutchman was lobbying for to place in our home…read more Honestly, I am not too crazy about these type of chairs, it's definitely not my style. I recognize this style is very big here, but it's definitely not my cup of tea. My taste is more lean on the French and American side, when it comes to home decor. However, I am at least flexible, so I will be allowing Dutchman to place these interesting chairs in our home. I understand that sometimes you have to meet your partner in the middle when it comes to selecting furniture for the house. The chairs at this warehouse are suppose to be a little bit more reasonable in price. In addition, they have a variety of chairs to offer if you are a fan of the 60's Vintage and Retro or industrial look.Customer service is extremely helpful. I am sure that if it was left to him that he would have given them a 4 star****.
