I created a Yelp account to write this review because I want to help prevent people from being scammed. * First of all, the good reviews that Bosque has online are fake. They bribe their residents to write good reviews for a chance to win money. * Ants everywhere. No matter what we did to get the ants to leave, the ant problem is so bad that nothing worked. We have had to throw out hundreds of dollars of food because ants were infested EVERYWHERE. * The hallways smell like weed 7 days out of a week. At one point the cops were in the hall arresting a group of people from their apartment room, I assume for drugs because of the sent of weed. Other than that ONE time the police came, no one did anything about the weed during my whole lease. Management didn't care that people were blazing up. So if you need an apartment to blaze up in, this one might work for you. * The rent is $775 and the pet fee is $25 a month. That is what we were told when we signed the lease. But when we went to Bosque to pick up our key they said we owed them $500 for a pet deposit. NO ONE mentioned the deposit to us. They held our key until we could give them the money. We had traveled 2 hours away from our hometown and didn't have the $500 on us, we had to get someone to deposit the money into our account so we could get a money order of $500 to get our key. * One day I was in my room and management comes knocking at my door with an eviction notice. I was very thrown off because I have the automatic payments set up on their shitty website. I had to prove that I paid them with pictures of the money taken from my account. They claimed that I have never paid a month of rent, and this was 4 months after my move in. IF I DIDN'T PAY ANY RENT, WHY ARE YOU JUST NOW DEALING WITH THIS FOUR MONTHS LATER? They gave me 2 days to leave the apartment but on the lease it says they have to give you 30 days to leave. It was a major inconvenience and honestly it was very stressful considering they were trying to evict me because THEY didn't have their shit together. I honestly believe they were trying to scam me. * After the eviction scare I wanted to keep a record of EVERYTHING. We email them THREE times to request an invoice of everything they had on file about my lease and payments. It took them 3 weeks to respond. * Nothing worked when we moved in. The closet door was broken. The dishwasher is stagnant water in it. The shower head didn't work so I bought a new one. Black mold growing in the bathtub. Two of the lights were out when we moved in. Nails in the carpet we're sticking out from them replacing it, cut my foot. Sink garbage disposal would stop working multiple times. The paint on the walls are so cheap. * Maintenance had access keys to ALL of the rooms. If we were not home they would come into the room to change air vents or do something else. Very alarming. * The fire alarms go off for the smallest things. * Dogs are only allowed in your room or in the dog park. And if you have a friends dog over in your room they will charge you $100 a day for the extra dog. My friend was in my room dog sitting my dog and she brought her dog over too, I was taking exams. Management made a surprise visit to my room and told my friend to get the dog out or they would charge me $100. * Laundry is $1.25 for washer and $1.25 for dryer per load. Credit cards only, and the card readers NEVER work. I would have to swipe my card for at least 5 minutes to get my laundry started. * Walls are soooo thin. Anyone who walks in the hall near my room can be heard from my bed! This is a issue if you have a protective dog, my dog was always on edge because she thought people were in our apartment. You can hear everything through the walls. * Dog barking is ridiculous. I understand that people need to leave their dogs at home while they are at work or class. But because the walls are so thin and cheap, you can hear almost every dog bark in the apartment. * At first we were told if we lose the garage key the replacement key is $15. ITS ACTUALLY $100!!! And you literally cannot get into the building or he parking garage without it. It's a huge scam because they know that you have no choice but to pay it. I'm telling you. Do not sign to lease here. It's a scam. I regret even CONSIDERING living here. The only positive thing I can say about this place is that it was a roof over my head, an expensive and shitty one, but it was a roof over my head.

Upon, moving out of my apartment, I hired a cleaning to service sweep, mop, carpet clean, etc and the office somehow found holes that had mysteriously appeared and charge me over $150 for a "LIGHT CLEANING" and claimed that my unit was "disgusting" upon final review by the office. I found that very strange considering I had not lived there since i had the unit cleaned. Every conversation I have had with anybody working there causes me to mistrust them more and they have lost any and all credibility with me. I had read several reviews, (all negative) about this property but decided to try it out anyway. Needless to say, huge regret. The walls are paper thin, its so close to the road you can hear every truck that passes by at all times of the night. At move in, the staffing team really try to rope you in with their upbeat behavior, which serves only as a cover up for the rest of your leasing period. The complex has a lot of potential, but without a staffing team to truly make you feel at home and is reasonable with the circumstances of your problems, this will never be good enough. At move out, I communicated an issue that would've prevented me from moving out on time. Their response was to shrug off my concern without any sympathy as if I were never a resident in the first place. Likewise, I hope you don't leave anything in the apartment behind for more than a day after moving out or else you can expect a fee and personal belongings that are without any regard chucked into the dumpster.
