DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! WHY? READ BELOW!!! We (family of 5 all adults) started off in room 134 in the Executive Building which is a non-smoking room. When we walked in, we were met with an overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke. The wall paper was falling off the wall & there was a giant hole in the glass that was "fixed" with duct tape. Sketchy. We immediately called the front desk & they moved us to another non smoking room that smelled clean. The staff was helpful & punctual in fixing the problem. We then stayed in room 140 with a roll away bed & 2 double beds. Upon first impression it looked like this place had not been updated in YEARS! There was a silver box where people could place used razors in which was very sketchy, our beds did not have a comforter just a sheet, the mini fridge was wobbley because it only has 3 legs, there were hardly any outlet ports in the room (only 3), & there was a giant crack in the window that was "fixed" using plexiglass over it, & we had a beautiful view of the parking lot to make sure our car didn't get stolen. I did go to the front desk to get 2 comforters so the double beds had more than just a sheet layer. The roll away came with a pillow, sheet, & comforter already made. The only updated item in the room was the mini shampoo, conditioner, & body lotion & the air conditioner unit. THIS PLACE IS VERY DECEIVING!!! The pictures of the hotel are of the updated building & updated rooms. They NEED to do a MAJOR update on the Executive Building in the back where we stayed. IF YOU CHOOSE TO STAY HERE CALL THEM DIRECTLY & ASK TO STAY IN THE UPDATED BUILDING & NOT THE EXECUTIVE BUILDING. Otherwise, don't stay here or a drug deal might happen outside your door or window! You've been warned.

When I came in, I dropped my stuff off went to get food at nearby. McDonald's went to put my bag of food in the microwave. There was already old bags of food in there alcohol drinks in the fridge and this morning we found a bloody towel stuffed underneath the chair.

I cannot believe I paid $185 for one night at this place. I'll start by saying people live here, like LIVE here live here. While we saw families, most tenants looked shady. We actually considered leaving upon check-in because we worried our room or car would be broken into, but opted to stay because this was literally the only hotel we could find with availability within 1.5 hours of our next destination. (NOTE: I live in Philadelphia and am well familiar with inner city crime and "the hustle," just to provide some context. I'm not some suburbanite who feels unsettled easily.) Our entire hotel wing absolutely smelled like weed and cigarettes. The carpets were filthy. I never heard or saw a vacuum during our stay. Owner was nice on check in, but appeared angry upon check out when we told him our room was dirty and we would never return. PROS: Hot water and we didn't get bed bugs

We were in town for my daughter's graduation from Brown University and this is the closest we could get to Providence for under $1000 per night. Booking.com rated this place 4 and had nice pictures. What a joke! But the joke was on us. As soon as we walked into the lobby, we knew it was a sham. I didn't get pictures of the lobby furniture but it looked like they picked up some sofas from the curb in front of a frat house. The hall going to the room smelled like my Grandma's old storage shed. I shot a video to show just how big of a dump this place is but Yelp doesn't support video so I screenshot parts of it so you could have some idea. Please, please, please don't waste your money here! If not for it being graduation weekend, we would have definitely found another hotel. Unfortunately EVERYTHING else was booked up. The graduation was great though. And maybe one of the best things about the all day ceremonies was that they kept us away from our room.

This sh*thole deserves NO stars. I wouldn't let my dog sleep here. My husband booked me a room with a jacuzzi for my first Mother's Day. As soon as we walked in the room, the first thing we noticed was the smashed walls, peeling wallpaper, and soda on the ceiling. Then we noticed Nip bottles under the shades, and our tv was so fuzzy. We called up to have our TV fixed, they called back two hours after. We checked in today at like 4ish, we left by 7ish. They offered us another room, all set. $150.00 gone. They say no REFUNDS because EVERYONE would leave. It looks like a decent place online, (photo shop does wonders). Considering calling the department of health just for shits and giggles.

No door in the bathroom

This is not a place that cost $130 + per night. Should be 80 to 100 range. No towels in the pool. No door in the bathroom Sloppy construction job around the sink. Bathroom sink has 2x4 as support. Oops. And the kicker is the TV! Old tubular TV with the brand I never heard of. WOW. These days when flat panel TV can be bought for $100 I was entertained by old TV and no door in the bathroom, but it is not good at all Lastly no cable TV. I mean mo picture st all. Just grain screen. Good luck to you all :)

This was in the drawers were I was supposed to place my clean folding clothes. Manager it was so rude.

We arrive and I choose to pay at Hotel but by the time arrive my Credit card was already charged and besides that they did charge me $100 deposit that nobody notify me; we check-in and got to the room and unpack my suitcase and was ready to put my folding clothes into the drawers but all the drawers were full of curtains and pieces of oranges. I did call the front desk and went there and ask to talk to the manager which it was so RUDE to me and my Wife. At that point, I ask for my money back and he said pack your stuff and leave. We will never go back to this place. New Owners who believe Customers we something to them. So do your self a favor and keep looking. Sometimes you want to save a dollar and ended up spending more than what you expect.

Unplugged old air conditioning & nasty sheets and comforter.

If you enjoy the smell of cigarette smoke and an old ladies attic, this is a PERFECT place for you. When you fist walk into the lobby, your hit with the smell of cigarette smoke and on top of that no ac. The employee's were rude and didn't care about what my family and I had to say. The room we stayed in was extremely outdated and unsanitary (even though they display a "newly renovated rooms" sign out front). There was stains on the curtains, the bathroom door didn't fit the door frame...therefore it didn't close, and regardless of the "non-smoking room" it smelled of cigarettes and a lingering smell of marijuana, the toilet seat wasn't fully attached to the bowl, and overall seemed unsafe. The sheets and comforter were disgusting. We had to go buy a new sheet and comforter set, along with room spray. Sadly we booked the hotel without reading reviews and booked based on websites pictures. The prices do not match what you're a receiving for your room. This place is not worth a penny of your money. DO NOT STAY HERE.

My mother worked with Donna Souza who was very efficient and made the planning easy. She walked us through the process of reserving a block of rooms for the wedding guests, and was very clear and responsive with advice, timelines, deposits needed, and cancellation policies. She also handled our special request to pay for us to cover the cost of certain guests' rooms. Everything went smoothly and we would definitely recommend working with Donna again. The hotel is easy to find and has ample parking in a private lot. The hotel is also handicap accessible and we had no issues for our guest who uses a wheelchair. The booking and check in process was easy for us and our guests. Rooms were small and simple but also clean and comfortable. There were privacy as well as black out curtains on the windows, a small wardrobe, a desk with a rolling chair, TV, microwave, coffee maker, mini fridge, and chests of drawers. Water pressure in the shower was excellent and required almost no wait time to heat up. We very much liked the full-sized soaps, lotion, shampoo, and conditioner, although some were very low on product upon check in. Would recommend this hotel if you are staying in Westport.

Relatively clean for the price point and an adequate breakfast with good coffee. The first day they failed to service the room at all. I don't mind reusing the towels but the room was so damp they did not dry. So off to the desk where a flustered desk clerk scrounged clean towels from the laundry room. The second day they serviced the room (we specifically requested it), but we arrived back in the room at 10 pm to find they had taken away the dirty towels but not left clean bath towels. The front desk clerk, nearly in tears, explained she only had one clean towel and gave it to us. I went to the laundry room myself and scrounged some clean bath mats to use at towels. Indeed at ten am the third day when we left the hotel, we asked and were told that the towels "were still in the dryer." In what world is it acceptable for even a budget hotel to leave guests with NO bath towels? This was a failure on the part of the housekeeping manager to have appropriate systems in place and be sure they are followed. And someone should have stayed late to finish the load of towels. And the hotel should always have 50-100 spare towels. Terrible customer service. Worst of all, when we arrived, we found a pair of men's underwear that did not belong to us in the floor of the closet. And the hotel had some unsightliness. A second floor room that was storage for spare furniture had no window covering and the light was left on, so it looked like a junked up mess visible to all at night. Also the curtains in the laundry room were tied off in a knit and similarly visible to anyone outside the hotel. And dehumidifiers in the first floor hallways. All this implies a hotel badly in need of maintenance and an overhaul in management. Not what we expect of IHG properties. We come to this area regularly to visit family, but we will never stay here again.
