Second I gave the lady a page to read at his celebration of life service, she read about 4 lines and made up the rest on her own. She went on and on and on about the dog days of summer. She never met him. I explained how to spell my daughter in laws name on the obituary and he spelled it the way he wanted to. I do not recommend them for a dead dog. When it was over they thought I was clueless when he said what a beautiful service it was and I asked where my husband was. He was shocked that I knew. The next day I was handed hot ashes hot off the table. I say choose a company that will take care of you because they don't care.

They use a service I provide to make tributes for families. I've personally seen them go out of their way to make a funeral truly special getting to know the families and helping them celebrate their life passions and interests. I even asked them about the one star review knowing how much a single bad review can hurt a business, and it appeared that they investigated and it wasn't even a service that they provided. They reached out to the reviewer and they didn't respond. Do not hesitate to use this home. They are kind, compassionate and though there level of service would be worth every penny, they are very affordable. There staff is truly wonderful. I never write reviews but I'm pleased to write this one for them. They deserve it.

We even saw cockroaches crawling on the chairs and on a couple of our family members!!! We caught one and gave it to one of the employees and their response was that they spray for them and that maybe one of our guests brought them in!!! Preface: Of course this review is saddening to write and I'm sure just thinking of having to visit…read morea place like this is no walk in the park, but it's good to know a place and a people as nice as Kiley and the Cremation Society do exist. We only went to visit my friend's ailing mother, who was on hospice; only to have to make quick decisions about her mother's final remain within week's time. Kiley, the representative of the Cremation Society that we had the pleasure of engaging with was EVER SO DELIGHTFUL, INFORMATIVE, PATIENT, COMPASSIONATE and all the other pleasant personality descriptors that you'd need at a time like this. She provided many alternatives and options and gave us time to decide which one best fit our current situation. From the time the hospice facility called on our behalf, up until today, 2 weeks later, Kiley has been in touch and providing status updates on the remains of my friend's mother. I can say, this was one of the best visits to a mortuary/crematory that I've had AND truly saying a lot!!!! The faculty was clean and quiet, I mean if it wasn't quiet, I might have been spooked out a little bit. The staff was pleasant, warm and calm in their disposition. There was a black cat that was in the building, I found out he/she was a rescue cat of sorts and has managed to capture the hearts of the staff, so now it's ( didn't find out the gender) a permanent fixture at the place. Ample parking and they operate by appointments... guess that makes sense, allows time for families to ask all the necessary questions, make selections and come to terms with the finality of the situation... well at least it did for us. Interesting note, you can WATCH the cremation of your loved one. At first I found that to be kind of creepy, but after thinking it through, I get it; not sure if I could do it, but I understand the desire to do so. Kudos to Kiley, the cat(s), because I believe there were two of them & the Cremation Society for a job well done when handling such a sensitive end of life event.
