They give u a 100% guarantee when u book both tours (if not cash back) to see at least one bear. Both tours will cost you 160 CAN Dollar. If not each tour 86 CAN Dollars. This is fair! We have been seeing bears on both tours. A tour last around 1 hour and the jeep safari is taking you right up the mountain until the very top. The view from up there is amazing - even better when you have clear sky. 4 people will fit in one jeep excluding the diver. Our diver was a local and very nice. Beside showing us some bear sights on trees, she also had quite some stories of her home town and of course of the bears in the area. They also make sure that there is not to much traffic on the roads (like jeep on jeep in a row) that the bears don't feel frightened. BECAUSE if they do they won't stay in the area for very long. So it is in their own interest to be as quiet as possible. The river safari was a nice tour as well. Our guide also had quite some stories to tell and we got lucky to see a bear wandering on the edge of the lake. We went there in September without a reservation. But I can image that it will get busy during the summer. We have seen some tour busses to stop there, so make sure, if you really wanna do it, to make a reservation upfront. read more

This was a very poor experience, I had rang ahead of time before travelling from Jasper to the river safari to see if we had to book this for three people and they said no come on ahead down. Once we got there there was a full bus load of people there, we had to wait two hours before they took us out on the tour, by that time we were ready to go home. As well as this I had asked on the phone if we could bring our dog and they said that was fine, however when we got there they said he wasn't allowed. This meant we had to leave him in the car for the time that we were out. I personally thought this was way overpriced and was a terrible experience. We only seen one bear when we were out, we seen more on our trip in jasper. For the boat tour it wasn't overly exciting. I would not recommend spending the money on this excursion. read more
