Laid out in an elongated building in deep inside Antique Alley lies this southern charm. A central walkway that serves as the main avenue in which one can survey the entire mall leads patrons across sections of true antique treasures that are organized and orchestrated into separate stations of themes. From coke collectibles to a cornucopia of old vinyl records and from an assortment of books to baseball memorabilia, this establishment literally might have it all. My husband and I had already been tripping over stuff in the store and stepping over things to get by. My husband suggested "Maybe you should have it blocked off so this doesn't happen again." The man behind the counter said "Sir why would I have customers stepping over things to get by?". My husband said "Well we are having to step over a lot of things in here." The man behind the counter raised his voice: "Are you serious?? You know what, why don't you just leave!". Me and my husband will not be going back. The store is horrendously disorganized and the man with the long white beard and glasses is a jerk. Go to literally any other store on the alley and avoid this one.

I felt like I was in a super-sized Pier 1 wandering through the come-to-life pages of Better Homes & Garden. I admit it was overwhelming as I did not come with a specific agenda. They had many items on sale and I was able to pick up a few small home decor items at reasonable prices. I saw a sign explaining how Paul Michael uses locally harvested wood, reclaimed architectural elements and upcycled materials in Dermott, AR- woohoo for going local! I admired a few gorgeous tables, which exhibited great care and impeccable craftsmanship. If you are tired of shopping at the same big box stores and want to add some quality, carefully crafted items to add to your home, I would recommend checking out Paul Michael Company for some different perspectives.
