I don't even know where to start. After hours of digging through Google, Reddit threads, Yelp…read morereviews... you name it, I was genuinely overwhelmed trying to find the right company to ship my (new to me) classic car (1967 Mustang). It feels like every transport company has either horror stories of the car falling off the trailer and the driver didn't have insurance, car was taken to the Mexican boarder and never seen again, or obviously fake reviews. I eventually landed on Zip Auto Ship for two big reasons. First, the sheer number of legit 5-star reviews. Not AI-written nonsense, no bots, actual people with real experiences. I honestly didn't believe it at first. Second, I called and spoke with Josh, and that conversation alone pretty much sealed it. He didn't give me the usual sales pitch. He walked me through how the process works, why prep and proper insurance coverage matter, and how carefully he vets the carriers he works with. It was clear he actually cares about doing things the right way, and that immediately put me at ease. For context, I got five quotes total: two from friends' recommendations, two local companies, and then Josh at ZipAutoShip. Not only did Josh have the best reviews and the most transparent communication, but his quote was the best price by a noticeable margin. About 10% cheaper than everything else I looked at. And again... zero pressure. No pushing, no guilt-tripping, just straight answers and a fair number. From there, he made the whole thing ridiculously easy. He took my info, contacted the current owner on my behalf, coordinated everything with the carrier, and lined up the pick-up and delivery without me having to babysit the process. The car showed up at my door in Little Rock four business days after my first call with him. Smooth, simple, exactly what you hope for when shipping a vehicle but rarely get. And honestly, one of the things I appreciated most: he didn't spam me afterward. No "hey can you leave a review?" messages, no follow-up hustle. Just a job well done and letting the work speak for itself. That actually says a lot about the kind of business he runs. If I ever have to ship a car again, there's absolutely no question I'm calling Josh. Save yourself the headache and just go with Zip Auto Ship.

I originally hired another company to move my car up to NY. After they completely dropped the ball…read moreon any of their promises, I reached out to Josh. He was very sympathetic to my problem and got right into finding a solution. Within one day, he sourced another carrier, gave me a promised pick up date and supplied the carrier's proof of insurance to ease my mind that my car would be covered if damaged. Josh is an all-star who takes great pride in is work in an industry that is filled with less-than honorable people. It's one thing to make a promise, it's another if they can actually deliver on the promise - that's where this company excels!!!

** SCAMMERS! Do not use if active duty military! Do not use ever!**…read more If I could give a business a negative rating this one would be negative infinity. I booked my car shipping on September 2nd, 2025 for a pickup window of October 17-19, 2025. I was assured that my flexibility in offering a pickup window would ease their ability in finding a driver and that because I'm booking well in advance my shipment would be a breeze. One month passes and it is now October 2nd I call the contact information on my invoice to see if their dispatch team could tell me the exact date and time for pickup. Red flags begin to fly immediately. Their dispatch team initially replies they have no record of my order and then proceeds to tell me the sales representative I made my order with (Kevin Bergman) is no longer employed there. I give the invoice number hoping their database keeps a record of orders and can just assign another representative. The dispatch team then recants and says they found my sales rep who initially processed my order and they will transfer me now. The individual who they transferred me to was a Kevin West, not my sales representative, and had no idea what I was speaking about. Kevin West is probably the only employee of value there and he did his absolute best but things were just a bit beyond him and he did not have access to my order. I eventually get redirected back to dispatch who assures me this has just been one bug mixup and they see my invoice ($2695) and that the job has been posted they are just waiting on a driver. They tell me as soon as a driver confirms which shouldn't take long they will contact me with an exact ETA for pickup. This was all on October 2nd. On October October 10th I reached out to Kevin Bergman asking for a pickup date I received no response. On October 11th I reached out again and I was told to call back that Monday October 13th and dispatch will have an answer. On October 13th I reached out to Kevin Bergman pleading for a response as my pickup window is less than 4 days away and I still don't even know if a driver is assigned- I received no response until Wednesday October 15th when I'm told the load date will be October 18-19th. I spoke with dispatch (Gloria) and they assured me the cars would be picked up by the 19th. I informed Kevin Bergman that closer to the day I would expect a time that the driver would arrive. October 17th I try to reach out to a Kevin Bergman to secure a time or discern whether the driver would be coming tomorrow or the 19th- I received no repose. The number I used to normally get ahold of dispatch placed me on hold for up to an hour and would repeatedly drop the call. All further efforts to contact Kevin Bergman were directed to voicemail. My cars were never picked up on the 18th, no one has contacted me or attempted to retrieve my cars on the 19th. I begin desperately searching for another transporter, as I am moving under military orders and need to be out of state by October 20th, to find out that Rite Way Auto Transport waited until October 15th at a posted price of $2000 meaning they kept a $695 commission to do absolutely nothing cause a terrible nightmare! ** DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY DO CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMER BASE. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR VEHICLE. THEY ARE SCAMMERS**

Worst Moving Experience Ever…read more This was my sixth interstate move and it was, by far, the worst. - Prior to the move : they could not give me a set date that they would come on (one of two), which should have been the red flag. - Packing : they only had to back art and a box of china. They were unprepared, despite my talking or emailing the company before the move, to pack the art and ran out of packing, meaning that the art was poorly packed. Secondly, all of the blankets that they used to wrap the furniture had holes. The rep who sold me on the move said that they would shrink-wrap the furniture. They did not. - Loading : They sent only two people. My possessions were bumped down the stairs by hand-cart with no consideration. Because there were only two of them, it took over four hours to load. And they wanted to charge me for an extra box for the furniture hardware from the furniture they disassembled. - Unloading : They sent one person. I had less than 10 hours notice. They came at 8:30pm and left at 12:30am. The boxes were in terrible shape -- one of them had holes in it, others had corners ripped, etc. One of my bookcases was badly chipped. They broke a lamp, which they had packed. Follow up : They will not pay for the lamp, even though they packed it and broke it. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
