This rite aid pharmacy just got switched to a CVS pharmacy. The customer service provided by the pharmacy supervisor, Stephanie, is sub par. After calling twice with no answer and no call back, I drove down to the store to try and talk to someone about a new medication. Stephanie was demeaning and rude and unprofessional with me explaining that "that's just how they do things" and that I wasn't going to get a call back. She wouldn't even look up my prescription or date of birth. She just handed me off to someone else because she didn't want to deal with the issues her and her team had caused. She was also wearing her AirPods during her shift, which I felt was unprofessional and unhelpful. read more

Rite aid sucks. Not just this location but rite aid is bankrupt and is closing locations. Spent way too long on the phone waiting to ask about a prescription, multiple days in a row and was always caller 20 or so on the queue. Transferred my prescription to Walgreens and they gave me the serious lowdown. Basically rite aid isn't answering phones because they are understaffed and simply do not care. Other pharmacy's cannot call rite aid for prescription transfers and I was advised to speak with my doctor to over ride rite aid refusing to answer phones. Horribly slow, you have to call after your doctor does before they will even start in your meds, it doesn't matter if the doctor sends it urgent. So after surgery, during miscarriages, trying to stop a miscarriage they will make you wait hours or even days for support, Pain relief or treatment. Go anywhere else if you can. read more

This is the second time that I have picked up my child's prescription to have it not properly mixed. They handed me a unopened box with bottle of powder! This is not only unacceptable but also completely unsafe to disperse a medication that hasn't been properly mixed! absolutely the worst store I've ever encountered in my 39 years of existence I sat on hold for over 3 hours as caller number 13 only to get to caller 9 then went into the store for a simple refill to be told it will be another 2 hours. I called the day before again a 3 hour hold but was able to get through and was told it will be filled first thing in the morning. Attempted to call 3 different times to determine why my prescription is not being processed. They do not answer their phones and the automated system does not provide options for all circumstances. I was the 9th caller in cue and was on hold for over 5 hours. When I finally got to 1 and wasn't advancing I realized it was because they had closed and they simply hadn't bothered to answer my call. read more

I sat on hold for 2.5 HOURS absolutely ridiculous. I sat at "you are #1 in the queue" for over 30 minutes. By then it was after 9:00 (which is when they close). At 9:37 my call "mysteriously" disconnected. I've attempted to transfer my prescription here several times in the past month. My insurance has changed due to a long term disability so I now have state insurance and not a lot of places accept Molina. I also discovered that they no longer utilize the drive up window. Having mobility and breathing issues utilizing a drive up is important for me. NOT HAPPY. If I could give zero stars I would. read more

This pharmacy is the worst, I try to avoid going here but didn't have the prescription number to transfer it to a different pharmacy. Every time I have gone to pick up a prescription it's not ready or it's not in. We are still waiting for an inhaler spacer to come in, it's been several months. I had to go into the pharmacy today because they don't answer their phone and the online refill system is a joke. I was unable to register my son because he is a minor then I tried to register myself to fill his prescription and it wouldn't allow me to make an account because I don't have a prescription in the system. Their customer service is non-exsistance, the pharmacy tech that assisted me was rude, not even a hi when I approached the counter, had me wait so she could put hand sanitizer on (not great at multi-tasking I guess). This person should not be working with the public. I realize it's difficult to find good people but the store employees greeted me and I was asked if I needed help finding anything as I made my way back to the pharmacy. I will be transferring any prescriptions that we have to another pharmacy. I would rather pay out of pocket then have to deal with anyone at this pharmacy again. I typically go to Walgreens across the street and even though I have to wait when I go there, the pharmacy staff is friendly, courteous and helpful. I have called customer service and filed a complaint with them as well. Do better Rite Aid. read more

One star for the following reasons (all relating to the pharmacy): 1. Rude staff. I visit this pharmacy on a regular basis and only had few experiences with friendly staff. 2. Pharmacy staff rarely answer their phone. Many times the phone rang and rang, phone was picked up then hung up. 3. They are very under-staffed. 4. EXTREMELY long wait times in both drive-thru AND in store EVERY time. I was in the drive-thru window line 20-30 minutes then went to second lane. Pharmacy staff asked me if I could wait until they serve all of the others in the window line before me. I explained I pulled into the second lane because the window line had an unreasonably long wait. The staff person was clearly annoyed. Is drive-thru pick-up only or do they fill Rx as well? That would explain why the wait is so long. Drive-thru needs to be Rx drop-off and pick-up only. Tell people they need to pick-up later when Rx is ready. That's what is done in-store. read more

I went here for my two Moderna vaccines. They failed to report the first one, so now the state thinks my second one was the only one I got and are nagging me to get the second one. DOH says they can't correct the record on my say so alone, so I have to jump through hoops with Riteaid to get it fixed. I'd almost rather eat dirt. Not confidence inspiring. How hard can it be to administer the vaccines and report them without messing it up. Apparently, too hard for Riteaid. THIS RITE AIDE WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE, after I was promised my pain meds would be ready by 11 pm last night (we had showed up at 7 pm), after no phone call about my meds being done after he said hed give me a call I fell asleep and woke up around 4 am in excruciating pain, I decided to get up and go to the pharmacy to get my medication, the pharmacist was rude right off the bat and then continued to create a hostile environment. She then told me my prescription wouldn't be ready for another 5 hours and that I can take my papers somewhere else, after that I will never be back there and I hope we can create awareness for this, being in excruciating pain and not getting the meds my body NEEDS is quite rediculous. PS. took my perscription papers and went across to Walgreens and got my prescription in 5 minutes. I had to go out in the middle of the night to pick up supplies. Staff at this store were helpful. Made me feel safe in their establishment. I was asked as soon as I walked in if I needed help. I explained why I was there and shown right to what I was looking for. The clerk at the counter up front took a little extra time to help the gentleman ahead of me with gloves and was very personable and polite. Wish the parking lot was better lit at night, but other than that, if I have to run out for emergency meds for a family member again, I know where I will be shopping. Great job guys! read more

God forbid you need to fill a pain med prescription. My husband was told to pick up his meds at 8:30 yesterday and when I got there to pick them up for him they told me they could not fill his prescription until three days later. I asked if they could send it to another pharmacy but due to the prescription being a narcotic they cannot do that. I had to call the hospital to get the doctor to send his prescription to another pharmacy. My poor husband with broken ribs had to suffer all night and not be able to sleep. The lady that worked last night was rude and not helpful whatsoever. We will never go to this pharmacy again. My husband also called them when I got back and told him they couldn't fill the prescription and he told them about the tech that told him to pick up his meds at 830 and they told my husband the guy working would not have said that. When I went in the store and asked, the guy working was super rude, said they were busy and people can switch pharmacies if they don't like it. Absolutely horrible. The only reason we had our scripts here was for the drive thru and 24 hr convince. The drive thru always has a hundred cars wrapped around the building so u spend a good 30-45 mins waiting in line. They never answer the phone, and after trying over and over they hang up. Every mnth there is some problem with the meds so you wait over a week without them to get the "problem" sorted out. They treat you like an inconvenience more then a customer. And could truly care less if you come at all. They are always understaffed. And spend more time making excuses then actually filling perscriptions. I wouldn't even waste my time or buisness with them, save the headache and hassle and go somewhere else. read more

This is regarding the RA at Division and Central. I was very I'll and was weak as a kitten. I went to the RX drive-thru and asked the young woman if she could grab an OTC cold medicine for me and I would pay her. She said she couldn't, but she would have a store cashier get it and I could pay up front. Nice enough, right? Well, young man named Zeck came to my car and delivered the med and came back with my change ! Just like the old A and W ! Both he and the pharmacist went above and beyond and I appreciate what they did for me. I called the manager to "tell on them" , as I always do when something is nicely done . I hope you do,too. So, the clerk called over the pharmacist and asked, "Is there a generic for this". They searched and found a perfect fit. Our out of pocket went from $49 to $17. First thing happened a few years ago. They gave me somebody else's ibuprofen prescription when I was 8 months pregnant. Next thing happened last year when they gave my daughter an iron prescription and wrote to give her 5x the highest dose for her size on the bottle. Then they where sent a prescription a few months ago for me and tried to say I already picked it up because they LOST it. Then they had been sent a prescription in July and even sent my dr a receipt confirmation and yet told me they never got it. They did the same with a prescription sent in September. Now I've been on hold with them for 50 minutes and they will answer the phone I hear background noise before they hang up the phone and I call back only to get the same thing over and over. I am fed up with this pharmacy. I wish Walgreens still took my insurance. read more

I went to pick up my prescription and the lady working the drive thru said that my insurance wasn't valid even though I used it not even 2 weeks before. I went to this rite aid around 11pm Wednesday with a buddy of mine who wanted to see a former coworker. While waiting for him I was persistently followed around the store by an employee named Dee. While I was looking at the beer she yelled at me to leave the aisle. Not thinking that I might be over 21 (I'm 23), she badgered me until I went to a different aisle. I asked her why she was following me and she said she follows everyone and assumes they are stealing. She said this while standing at the front of the store as other people walked right by. When I pointed out that she wasn't following them she threatened to call lost prevention. When I told her they wouldn't find anything she told me to get out the store and go to Walgreens. If I could never visit this pharmacy again I would be thrilled! If I had another option near by I would accept my insurance I would have switched a long time ago. I would give 0 stars if it were an option. Their wait time is absolutely unacceptable. Their staff, other than Jordan, is short and rude. Sometimes they won't even give me all my prescriptions just for me to have to wait in their ridiculous line for a second time. 30 min+ plus every single wait time, inside or out. They are regularly "out" of my diabetic supplies. I will call to check on them days later and they will say "yes it's in stock we'll get it ready for you" first off you shouldn't be running out of life saving prescriptions and second, you should be immediately filling those "unstocked" locations. I have currently been in line for over 20 minutes for 2 cars to get though and still have 5 ahead of me. I absolutely loathe this store and dread going. PLEASE FIX THIS! They lose our dog's prescription regularly, lie to us about having it in stock (tell us to come back in an hour, and then when we do, tell us they don't have it,) and treat us like drug seekers. They told my husband they wouldn't refill it and then asked him about his unusual name with "Dog" in it. He had to argue with them to get them to read the prescription correctly. They are stupid and nasty and incompetent. Our dog needs his medication to prevent seizures. If we were to continue to rely on them to do their jobs, our dog would be in terrible shape. I hate to think of the poor people that rely on them for their human prescriptions. Stay away!!!! They are horrible!!!! read more

The pharmacy is awful!!! I've just recently had to call 6 times to make sure they have 3 prescriptions. This took days to take care of and it was due to their incompetence because the scripts were in their system the whole time! Then, they cut 2 of these prescriptions in half from a 60 day supply to a 30 day supply and said that it's insurance reasons although other pharmacies haven't had any insurance problems filling the correct amount. They don't answer the phones and after so many rings it kicks you out to the main menu so you have to listen to the covid intro again. This happens least 4 times most days before a pharmacy person will pick up, believe me, I know. EVERYTIME I need a script filled they mess it up and waste a bunch of my time. The last time I went, I just needed some high dose vit D for a severe deficiency. The first pharmacist said she couldn't fill it because my insurance wouldn't approve it, which is crazy because again, I've filled it elsewhere without a single problem. She told me to buy it otc because that was my only option. I explained to her that taking 45 pills every morning was not only impracticable but an unnecessary expense when I have insurance. Another pharmacist came over and actually filled the script but I had to come back later that day to pick up. Those just my recent examples. The stupidity is headache inducing. read more
