On two separate occasions, my drinks were made incorrectly with the wrong flavors. On my first order, I purchased five drinks, but only one was actually given to me. When I went back, I was told they were "out of stock," even though the shelves were fully stocked with the exact same drinks I ordered, which made the explanation hard to understand and honestly very frustrating. On a second occasion, my drinks were made incorrectly with the wrong flavors, AGAIN! I definitely started notice a pattern rather than bad luck, so I went back to the store to get it corrected. What really stood out wasn't just the mistake itself, but how it was handled. It's one thing to make an error, but it's another when someone is literally looking at you and laughing about it as if wasting someone's time and money is funny, which felt disrespectful and unprofessional. I did speak with a manager, she took responsibility for the situation but didn't actually handle or resolve it. Honestly felt like she was trying to brush the issue off and move past it as if it never really happened and to me that really shows that customer service at this store doesn't seem like a priority. If you don't like your job, then QUIT, because bringing that kind of negative energy into customer interactions isn't fair to people who are paying for a service.

The deli is more than it appears from the outside - part deli, part candy store, part convenience store, and all very welcoming I enjoyed looking around the store as I waited on my food. What m wife and I ordered were the 12" Chicken Philly (me), and the #7 off their board consisting of ham and some other meats I can't recall at the moment, a 12" as well. These appeared as massive, bulging subs filled with everything we asked for. No complaints there. Service was a bit wonky - my sub came out almost immediately, but my wife's order took a strangely long time to make. Not sure as it was one of their run-of-the-mill sandwiches, but it did come out and they were apologetic about the wait. For dessert they have offerings out of a cooler - my wife had a raspberry pie of sorts while I had a Boston Cream Cake. They were fresh and good. I know if I wasn't enjoying myself they weren't either. MTO stands for Made To Order food, not My Terms Only food. Backing up the line all the while. Honestly, if you do happen upon a Sheetz that appears busy, order through the app and have the pick up time be ASAP. When i called to ask about it, the Manager, "Carl" made an extremely ugly remark about the money from the checks being used to pay one of the scammers (a man) for sex (with my Mother!). It was extremely offensive. He knew about the scam, that these people were ripping my Mother off and exploiting her, and he, or any of his employees, did not care. We are moving her out of state immediately, and away from this place. We were unaware of the extent of this scam, which escalated when her boyfriend passed away just before Christmas. Do NOT do business with these people. If they will knowingly assist in taking advantage of an elderly person, they will not do you any good.

I was just short of that total but they do have items at the register that you can purchase to bring the amount up. Or you could grab a ready made sub if you are hungry. I don't work there anymore, though, but I wanted to provide some context that he left out, so that people reading these reviews get a better idea of what actually happened. I had just lost my mother to lung cancer just a few scant months prior to the interaction that he is referring to, and it was weighing heavy on my mind. Rather than be a civil person and actually ask about it, he decided to just assume things and get all huffy and then come on here to write a review. I did not "act like an a--hole", I might have rolled my eyes, but because it was deeply hurting me inside when I started to realize just how many people are addicted to tobacco, like literally 90% of the entirety of Elderton and the surrounding area. This crap killed my mom despite me asking her and asking her and asking her over the years, begging for her to quit it. Maybe, someday when he's laying on his deathbed with cancer, he will understand, and regret his actions. Hopefully he quits before it is too late, but I doubt it. Some people would say "well don't work at a job you gotta sell tobacco then" ... getting another job takes time. And yes, I hauled out of there as fast as I could because selling tobacco was bothering me greatly. I didn't like the idea that I, myself, was contributing to people not only killing themselves, but also putting their loved ones through what I had to experience. Some day, maybe 20, 30 years down the line, if this guy has children, one of his children will stand over him laying on a hospital bed, wishing he had quit the tobacco years ago. So, if this guy ever reads this, I would not only urge him to quit that nasty junk, but to also try to consider that there might be a story behind something like that, if you'd only give the other person more than 2 seconds thought and stop thinking about yourself all the time. EDIT: I will also point out that I had forgotten about this detail until after I posted the review, but we were highly understaffed at the time. I was being asked to pretty much man the entire store myself, and every single time I tried to do anything, I was interrupted, and being interrupted is one thing, but being interrupted by the one thing that I had so strongly loathed (tobacco) was incredibly frustrating. I was in a very bad place mentally and emotionally at the time, and yes it's wrong to take that out on customers, but we're all human. "sorry, man I'm just not feeling today, I'm over worked, we're understaffed, I didn't mean to be mean, I'm sorry if you misunderstood my intentions".
