I live in Harrington NSW, My name is Dianne. I am so sick of going into the IGA store in Harrington to buy something that I need, to find that it is out of stock,I do understand things like this do happen and the store does not always have control over these types of issues, but tonight has really infuriated me. I went into the store at 5.30 pm yes 5.30 pm Thursday afternoon 9th May to buy a BBQ chicken for dinner, to find there wasn't any in the warmer and the warmer had already been cleaned, the girl in the Deli told me they ran out and will not be cooking any more today. So I asked her where I might be able to buy a BBQ chicken, the girl behind the deli case told me if I want a BBQ chicken to drive into Taree to get one. I am NOT a happy chappy, Taree is about 30 plus ks away, 30+ ks in and 30+ ks out. Not to mention getting a park getting served etc. So all up it would have taken me not less then 2 1/4 hours just to get a BBQ chicken, REALLY, The attitude of this girl leaves a lot to be desired. My understanding is, if a customer was to go into the store even 10 mins before closing to buy a BBQ chicken, the customer should be able to buy one, I also understand sometimes that won't happen, but this was only 5.30 pm, in the afternoon,I repeat 5.30 pm, no where near closing, it was hours before the store was to close.
