I have been a regular customer of the Ristorante Galileo now for over 3 years, having lunch there several times a week as it is just 2 minutes from my office at the University.
Going to Galileo for me is always a bit like "jumping back" to Italy; the menu is always varied, with many excellent traditional italian dishes (for example, I can strongly recommend the "melanzane alla parmigiana"), and often some "Pugliese" specialty (e.g., "la burrata").
The atmosphere is very friendly; in the summer, I really love sitting on the terrace, where I can relax in the sun and enjoy a portion of "spaghetti alle vongole" (always cooked "al dente") or a truly delicious tuna steak on the grill, accompanied by a fresh glass of excellent Pinot Grigio.
Cosimo is a great cook and host; the food quality, standard of service, friendliness, reasonable prices, and -- last but not least -- the excellent "espresso" that he makes, make me feel as if I have found a second "home"! read more
