Comfortable, gracious, and...nice. We got back hungry and ridiculously late for lunch. The closed restaurant made us a fresh minestrone, the best I have ever eaten, and wonderful local cheese to follow. Not huge, but very comfortable rooms. Generous public spaces. In the absolute Center of Lecce's magnificent palaces, public and private, and even more resplendent churches. Lecce was, after all, the star of Sachaverel Sitwell's "Southern Baroque" (c. 1928). There is also a distinguished Medival ghetto, also very close. Stay here!

We will be staying here for 2 days and 2 nights through our group tour…read more First, the reception was really friendly. Greeted by the staff and gave our keys right away. Our luggages has been transfer to our room already. The price was through our tour company so I have no idea how much they paid. The lobby was very modern. Our room was so spacious . It was clean and didn't smell smoke. There was one bottle of water , electric water kettle available. Instant coffee , teas and sugar were present. The proximity to the main square stores, Restaurants shops was easily accessible. Walking distant 10-15 minutes only very nice location. Overall, we are very pleased at this time.

I believe historic in Italian must mean something different. They take your ID and tell you to come get it in 15 minutes. Then, when you show up to get it, they ignore you for the tour groups checking in. You are forced to wait even though you have been traveling for 3 days and want nothing more than to go to sleep. Then your room air conditioner is not getting cold, and you call down to the front desk to let them know. They hang up on you. Then the repair tech comes up to "fix" the a/c. Their fix consists of telling you how refreshing the air is and you need to give it 15 minutes (see a pattern here?). I asked for more clothes hangers, got nothing after having been told the would bring some. The refrigerator is broke and won't get cold. The bed is hard as a rock. Worst hotel I have ever stayed in, and I have used a hotel in a war zone!! Stay away!!

First , when we came to the hotel , the guy at the reception gave us a wrong chamber... and we found stuff of other people inside! Built in 1969 it has the feel of Eastern European design…read more Dinner not hall in is a big old barn and reception area is big enough for a ballroom dance. The rooms are updated the bed hard and lumpy. We had a balcony overlooking the Adriatic which was nice and the only reason we stayed. Serviceable accommodation if nothing else available. Eat elsewhere if possible. Would I stay here again? Sure. Would I stay elsewhere? Probably.
