On 3/20/2025 Jacob and I reached an agreement that he was going to install 3 exterior lights at my residence, and I paid his request, 50% ($373.50) of the total amount due as a down payment. The invoice dated 3/20/2025, stated that the installation would be completed on 4/9/2025. The installation was not done on 4/9/2025 nor did I hear from Jacob. On 4/12/2025, I texted him asking "when will the lights be installed?" He replied that the job was rescheduled for Friday 4/18/2025. No one showed up to install the lights on 4/18/2025 as promised. I called him on Tuesday 4/22/2025 and he said that the lights would be installed on Thursday 4/24/2025 at 9 am. Again, no show. I sent him an email stating I am no longer interested in his services. After he received the email, he texts me stating he would refund my money, but I have yet to get my money back. This guy has had many excuses, and I am done waiting. It is time to pursue legal action. It's unfortunate that I will have ruined his reputation. If I don't get my refund soon, I will file criminal charges against him.
