Everything about this rental deserves full marks. To start, Chad, our host, was easy to communicate with, friendly, highly accessible and went above and beyond helping out our group with any matter we had. The location is perfect as you are on Ipanema beach at the corner of Copacabana/Aproador/Ipanema. As a North American visiting Rio for the first time, I was a bit cautious about safety as you hear negative stories in the press. However, during my experience, not once did I ever feel in danger. The neighbourhood is safe, vibrant and full of many choices for food, drinks, shopping etc. The penthouse itself is outstanding as you have everything you possibly need. Having the rooftop deck and pool was of much use as you have the perfect blend of privacy, the beach, and landscape views. Thank you Chad! You helped make this one of the best trips ever! read more
