We put ourselves utterly in her hands to guide us through the process and we were not disappointed - in fact, we're insanely happy with the results. It was fast, efficient, and exactly what needed to be done. She hand-held us through the entire process and got us a great price. I'd recommend Sonja to ANYBODY who wants to sell their house, or I assume buy one.

I've been working with Sonja for the last two years and cannot say enough about her level of…read moreservice. She truly is one of a kind and the most dedicated realtor I have ever worked with. I realized this after I moved out of state and was so frustrated with the level of service I received by other realtors. Here's our story of how we bought and sold with Sonja. I called Sonja off a sign two years ago while looking for our home in Bend. I had already met a few other realtors but not settled on anyone. Sonja was already very well established and still made us feel like her first priority. She was sending me properties and responding to all the properties I saw immediately. She got us in homes quickly and was always there with us. We found the home we loved and realized during inspection it was a money pit and the sellers were not willing to compensate. She sat with me while I cried and gave the realtor who jerked us around a piece of her mind. At that point we were four weeks from being homeless and no prospective houses were on the market. I was ready to sign a year lease when I saw a home pop up, sent it to Sonja, and she met us there within 30 minutes. We put an offer in an hour later and she secured us the house out of 7 other offers (ours was not the highest). She knew I liked to know all the details and kept me informed during every stage of escrow. When it was time to sign and my husband was out of town moving all our possessions she watched my young children, gave them toys and fed them donuts so I could read and sign the contracts . We got in the house in three weeks and escrow went incredibly smooth. After we were in the home Sonja sent us recommendations or service workers and helped us get settled. She sent us house warming presents, included us in client appreciation parties and constantly checked in on me and my family. She truly cares and her actions after the sale prove it. Two years later my husband got a job offer we couldn't refuse in the Midwest. Sonja helped us list our home within a week and a half of finding out we were leaving. The market is crazy and we got many offers. Sonja helped us weed through them and pick the buyers with the best package to end in a smooth closing. We had to move before our home closed. Sonja was meeting with contractors to get things fixed, taking out the garbage and checking on our home every day. Her service didn't end there. A realtor we were working with in Michigan showed his true colors by trying to pressure us into a sale that we knew wasn't right. I was so frustrated when Sonja called to check in. I gave her a rundown and she then proceeds to call her Michigan contacts for a good realtor, interviews these people, and sends us a list of realtors she thinks will work well for us. I'm still just floored. Currently we are in escrow for a home with realtors Sonja helped us find. They got the job done but don't hold a candle to her level of service... I'm not sure she set a fair bar for others. Sonja is true service. She loves her job and cares for her clients. I seriously cannot recommend her enough, I've sent friends to her and they all had similar experiences. She is a treasure!

We worked with Sinda Hanson to sell our Bend, Oregon home in 2022. She was a nightmare to work…read morewith. We several times considered firing her, but we were so stressed and exhausted that we couldn't bring ourselves to have to start over again. Sinda once bragged about being called a "bulldog." No. She was more like a nasty little ankle-biter that you just wished would shut up and go away! I hope she's gotten professional help since, but at that time, she was absolutely incapable of forming and finishing a single complete, coherent sentence. Her constant blathering was headache-inducing. She also utterly refused to ever listen to me. She announced one day that she was going to come over and weed my front flower beds. I told her in no uncertain terms that no, she was not: That I would do it myself. She then showed up the next morning and attacked our front yard. We weren't even aware of her presence until she started up a leaf blower and blew a lot of our bark mulch out into the street. She had also left a lot of weeds and pulled out some of my very expensive perennials instead. Before she brought the photographer to get interior photos, she said she was going to bring a bunch of cut flowers in vases. I told her no, that my husband has severe allergies, and she was not to bring flowers. She and the photographer then showed up the next morning, a full hour before they were scheduled to, and she immediately went to work bringing in cut flowers in vases and arranging them all over my house, ignoring my protests. The idiot later had the audacity to ask me if I wanted to keep her stupid flowers. She would call and immediately launch into one of her barrages of incomplete, incoherent sentences, blabbering incessantly, then ask what we thought. About what?!?!! And during one of her in-person nonsensical blabbering sessions, as my Sinda-induced headache grew worse, she actually turned to me and said, "Oh, I know this is hard for you to understand." Then continued babbling about whatever it was she thought she was conveying. Do I recommend Sinda Hanson? Not in a million years. Annoying doesn't even begin to cover it. To this day, just thinking about her gives me a headache all over again. AWFUL!

We arrived just before 3pm (the house was open until 3:30 according to Zillow) and instead of a warm welcome we received a statement " I am closing up now". I said "okay do you have a card ? " I asked since we are looking for an agent to assist with a new home purchase. Her response was "my number is on the sign. Very strange since I've never had anyone in any sales position be so unfriendly and uninterested in our business. We will continue our property search with another company.
