Be Aware: After we completed our meal we were told it was cash only...... as we were checking our cash she then mentioned a debit card. I'm pretty sure she could have taken a CC but preferred cash. No where was it printed or mentioned about cash or debit card payments. Just wish we had been told in advance about payment options. We have been in Germany several weeks and understand some places are cash only but they tell you that up front! The service was good and so was the food. Go and enjoy. Take cash! read more

Outstanding food mostly for carnivores, but the vegetarian options are equally yummy. Cooked and grilled meat, Bulgarian salads and brandy, good choices, and everything is made fresh upon ordering. The owner is a good spirited outgoing man, a pleasure to meet. Rila became my favorite spot in town, I strongly recommend it. read more
